Oh -- well spotted! Then it's clear what happens: you cannot select colors
outside the range of the main color selector. The experimental new color
selector follows the config of the main one, and that solves this problem as
well. Unfortunately, it's still rather experimental and slow.

I got what was doing that, on the setting, the "color selector use different
color space than image" was checked.
Idk if it is the behaviour intended but its fixed now

Did you install the debug symbols so you could make a crash log? I've seen the
message "layer isn't editible" when it is sometimes, and that's already in
bugzilla.

I haven't checked on ubuntu yet, I'm currently on opensuse, but there the color
selector bug doesn't happen.

I use a wacom tablet, but the but happen when I use mouse too so its something
else, is there anyway to track what happend in the soft ? i tryed to dl another
appimage but same thing.

Also another bug that made me gave up when on multiwindows mode : it said the
layer isnt editable then crash... thats a feature i really would like to use
since my tablet got a small screen

Hm... I cannot reproduce that. Haven't seen it before either. Does it make a
difference whether you use a mouse or a tablet stylus, and if so, what tablet
do you use? What windowmanager do you use?
