[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1816251] Re: [HP Spectre x360 - 15-df0008nc] Battery is drained in the laptop sleep mode and sometimes is shutdown by BIOS overheating protection
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1803179 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1803179 It seems to be related to nvidia drivers. The previous behavior was described for nvidia-driver-390. After upgrading to nvidia-driver-415 it is observed the same behavior as in https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1803179. (the laptop freeze in sleep mode) The only workaround which works is to use kernel parameters acpi_osi=! acpi_osi=\"Windows 2009\", but that disables the touchpad. ** This bug has been marked a duplicate of bug 1803179 System does not reliably come out of suspend -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1816251 Title: [HP Spectre x360 - 15-df0008nc] Battery is drained in the laptop sleep mode and sometimes is shutdown by BIOS overheating protection Status in linux package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: [HP Spectre x360 - 15-df0008nc] Battery is significantly drained in the laptop sleep mode.
