RE: [lace] Biggins / Presencia
Just to let you know that there are suppliers in the UK who will be able to supply Finca thread so you don't need to worry, it will be available. Re: [lace] Biggins / Presencia
So sorry to hear that news I shall miss Finca thread it's one of my very favourites as it always works so well and the smoothness of it makes for a lovely sheen on the lace. I shall have to be very careful with the small amount that I have left. I will miss Biggins as well as Vivienne was always very generous with her advice on threads at lace days. Re: [lace] Biggins / Presencia
Hi folks Sorry about the gobbledegook at the end of my last message - the auto insert is getting worse. Should have read âconcentrating on their patterns and appropriate threads for those patterns". > > Once the legalities are sorted and different threads have been sourced they > are planning to relaunch as Biggins; concentration on their patterns and > appraise threads for those patterns. > > > Brenda in Allhallows paternos...@appleshack.com www.brendapaternoster.co.uk - To unsubscribe send email to majord...@arachne.com containing the line: unsubscribe lace y...@address.here. RE: [lace] Biggins / Presencia
Thanks for re-quoting Brenda's message, Clay. Brenda's emails are amongst those that get cut off for me as soon as something like an apostrophe is used. It is indeed very sad news that Presencia Span are insolvent and we may soon have to do without their wonderful Finca thread, and a great shame for sellers like the Bigginses that they too have to go out of business. Re: [lace] Biggins / Presencia
Hi Liz Itâs because Presencia Spain are insolvent. The conditions the administrators are imposing - big price increase, payment in advance and with the current situation no certainty of actually receiving the goods - meant that Vivienne and Iain of Presencia UK felt that they had no option other than voluntary liquidation/winding up. Once the legalities are sorted and different threads have been sourced they are planning to relaunch as Biggins; concentration on their patterns and appraise threads for those patterns.
