Retried using same steps as in comment 8, except that I tried :

- saving with Cmd-S
- saving via the File - Update menu entry

Made no difference, each time I close the form window, I get a crash.
Additionally, whilst the menu entry appears to be activated, the changes to the
form are not saved.

probably the embedded objects aren't actually read when the document is opened,

The has a recursive calculation, may be with a low value for Minimum change in

1. open attached file in LO master

3. LO hangs

Not sure about exact repro steps here. OP talks about opening from CLI. But
this seems to be no requirement to trigger the crash.

Force quitting LO results in attached crash log.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 100550] New: Adding standard colours to “Font Colour” and “Background Colour” menus

2016-06-22 Thread bugzilla-daemon

   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: unspecified

Colour Palette

P.S. My English is not excellent, sorry for that. Attached picture can explain
my suggestion better.

When I working on LibreOffice, I have difficulties in determining standard
colours while changing font colour or background colour. I want to make a text
red but which red? Wanna make yellow but which yellow? That’s why I need a
standard colour palette. So, I think that it is going to be so helpful doing an
arrangement such as attached picture. My proposal does not have different
dimensions from current state for menus. Current menu is large enough, already.
So, I just shifted location of “Custom Colour” button.

> What value to enter in E7 and what value must be the result in B79?

In theory any value should be enter in E7, and the result in H79(not B79) must
be the content of B74*0,14. After some other test I discovered that some times
the value in H79 remain correct(equal to 0,14*B74) even after i change the
value in E7 for the first time, but if i change the value in E7 again the value
in H79 become incorrect. I noticed that some times the value don't change at
all when i change the value in E7. I attached a screenshot of the incorrect
value. In the screenshot B74=3713 so H79 should be equal to 519.82, but the
result in the sheet is 46,725. For obtain that number I had changed the value
of E7 to 55 and the value of H79 changed correctly to 46,725(0,14*334) then
I changed E7 to 56 and the value of H79 remain 46,725. I think the problem
is that the cell don't update correctly when the value of another cell is
changed.

2016-06-22 Thread bugzilla-daemon

Status: UNCONFIRMED

Image-1

P.S. My English is not excellent, sorry for that. Attached images can explain
my suggestion better. In a nutshell, between the attached images, I’d prefer to
use (C) or (D), rather than use (A) or (B).

At the Image-1, buttons in the menu which I marked with (A) are too small and
useless. Also there are some mismatches between (A) and (B) menus.

1. Square shaped buttons located in menu (A), are 2 px smaller than the buttons
in menu (B).

2. The view of the icons is different. Icons located in menu (A) have border
around them. But icons in menu (B) don’t have border around them. Icons have a
clearer view without border.

3. Placement the icons is different, too.

4. There are different border options. For example, there are diagonal borders
in menu (B), but there aren't in menu (A).

Because of all these reasons, I suggest to readjust the menus with same form at
Image-2 for being compatible with one another and presenting a useful content.
Option (D) of Image-2 is connected with the result of ID: 100548 bug record. If
number 100548 bug record is accepted, all border options can be done compatible
with eachother by using option (D).

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 100548] New: Reorganizing “Border” tab on “Format Cells” window in Calc

2016-06-22 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=100548

Bug ID: 100548
Summary: Reorganizing “Border” tab on “Format Cells” window in
Calc
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: unspecified
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Calc
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: hakanoz...@gmail.com

Created attachment 125834
  --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=125834=edit
Formt Cells - Borders

P.S. My English is not excellent, sorry for that. Attached picture can explain
my suggestion better.

Buttons which are marked with (A) in the attached picture and where under the
“Borders” tab in the “Format Cells” window in Calc, are very small and they
cannot be understood easily. These buttons have 19x19 px size. Same buttons
have 42x37 px size at Microsoft Office Excel. Also there is enough space on
this window, so, line styles which are marked with (B) in the attached picture,
can be shown in an open mod, not have to be opened by clicking.

As a consequence, I recommend to reorganizing of “Borders” tab as in the
picture.

Of course, if this suggestion will be confirmed, a similar study must be done
with other LibreOffice programs’ table editing windows, too.

(By the way, there are various issues with “Line Style” options in “Borders”
tab, associated with it, I have opened another bug record, see ID: 100518 )

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 100515] mailmerge - page number incorrect after merged

2016-06-22 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=100515

Since you didn't attach examples I can't be sure, but merging an "odd pages"
document produces empty hidden pages between merged documents for correct
duplex printing.

For 7 records and a single page, you get 7 pages + 6 hidden empty duplex pages
=> 13 pages.

For your 658 records example I would expect a 1315 pages output, but without
example data, I don't see a way to verify the bug.

And please specify the earliest version you encountered the bug.

If it's no bug, please close the report.

Have you seen in the import screenshot there is English UK as language (my
language is Spanish), it is to have dot as decimal separator for the imported
file, you can set up also, with French as language, clicking on the head of
percent column and selecting in Column type US English.

1. Insert a trend line and check 'Show Equation'

Actual behavior:
Equation looks like 'f(x) = ... x ...'

Expected behavior
In UI trendline dialog, if 'Show Equation' is checked, two edit text fields
should appear:
X variable name: (default 'x')
Y variable name: (default 'f(x)')
This may give more customized equation such as:
P(t) = ... t ...

The above logcat is on a Nexus 6 running 6.0.1
There are a couple of selinux denials in the log, which seems odd.

Writer template

I would not want to work with this template. First of all there are way too
many styles in the template. People using more than four levels for headings
also frightens little children (you can _hide_ unused styles).

Header is in Times New Roman/12, title in Liberation Sans/28, and text body in
Calibri/11. Heading 1 has Liberation Sans/14 , heading 2 is in Liberation
Sans/16.1 and bold. Etcetera.

My expectation is that the following styles are defined (and exemplary shown):
* title, subtitle,
* heading 1-3 (h1 with page break),
* text (I prefer equal spacing before and after; single line spacing for
documents that have to be ),
* list with bullets, numbered list (lists with no spacing except the first and
last item, which needs an extra style),
* indexes,
* figure caption, table caption,
* citation, and
* header, footer.

The template could be improved with fields like page number, author, title.
Official templates like the APA style have several other restrictions. Each
journal its own, of course.

I'm attaching an old template that is not necessarily better than yours (nor
does it focus on thesis or academic paper).

Keep on with the work, we definitely need good examples!

Hello,

I downloaded LibreOffice:

Version: 5.1.3.2 Build ID: 1: 5.1.3-0ubuntu1 CPU Threads: 4; OS version: Linux
4.4; UI render: default; Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8)

I am having display defects problems in the function bar (see attachment).

Is it possible to do something about this problem or i should rather wait until
the next more stable ?

Frendly regards,
Azzédine Chared

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 100545] New: Calc 5.0.6 crashes with file made in Calc 4

2016-06-22 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=100545

Bug ID: 100545
Summary: Calc 5.0.6 crashes with file made in Calc 4
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: unspecified
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Calc
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: libre@mfriebe.de

I have a file that crashes calc each time.

It can be opened, but attempt to view certain sheets (here 2nd sheet) goes
straight to "unexpected error" / "document recovery"

I do not know what in the file causes the issue. (I do not know of any steps to
get more info).

I am happy to provide the file, but do not whish for it to go public. (It is
ok, if shared between some of the developers).

tdf#92157: allow both dimensions of a graphic to be 0

Commit ca80f73 made it possible for one of dimensions to be zero.
This commit goes further, allowing opening real-life documents
with graphics having both width and height equal to 0.
Thanks to libreoff...@arbruijn.dds.nl for debugging and initial
patch!

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 100543] New: Impress is not usable with custom sound

2016-06-22 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=100543

Bug ID: 100543
Summary: Impress is not usable with custom sound
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 5.1.3.2 release
  Hardware: All
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Impress
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: mika...@gmx.de

This bug depends on several issues concerning sound effects.

To be franky, currently LO Impress functionality is only limited,
i.e. you can only use it

- if the presentation is run on the same computer as the design computer
- if there is no (custom) sounds in your presentation, that is:
- if you only use built-in sound for slide transition
- if you don't need sound for image effects...

I already filed a bug about losing external soundfiles.

But this issue seems to relate to another bug, I found:
It is not possible to add sound to animated objects,
i.e. they wouldn't play.

In my case, I choosed "other sounds", and added an mp3 file.

Same procedure works with slide transition.

Workaround: Re-Sample your sound with audacity and add
some seconds of silence ahead. Then you here the
sound effect delayed as intended.
(Only works with fix times).

Can you reproduce the problem I have in 5.2? If this is not fixed, version 5.2

Condition multiply inherits so the Builder::disposeBuilder call was missed

and prenotify occurs during ::dispose when there is no
m_pConditionPlayground
anymore, so m_pConditionPlayground == 0 where pPlaygroundCandidate is 0
passes, so a random widget gets cast to somethings its not, hence the bad
cast exception

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 100540] Transition sounds are not embedded, thus missing at presentation

confirmed for most recent version.

At least, audio file locations seem to be stored with relative paths,
so I could open my presentation on another linux PC with sounds,
when the audio files were added from the usb where the odp
file is located.

Not testet with windows (drive letters instead of mount points).
