Hi Julien,

did you fix this bug in LO directly or did you fix the extension? I have
installed the old extension, because I don't know where to get a new one.

I have only called the procedure I have created before I reported this bug.

Not at the moment, so it would be great if you could take a stab at it.

Using pShape->GetUpGroup() to test group membership didn't produce the correct

Indeed, this is an enhancement that should be made. So I'm opening this ticket
again until this basic enhancement is made.
However, closing this ticket with the argument that this is not a bug, but a
needed enhancement is again proof of self-righteousness and dishonesty.
So please improve LibreOffice's regular expression syntax.

Withness the absent menu bar and the top button bar that is partially obscured

Also, the status bar at the bottom of the screen is only partially visible.

Resizing the window vertically or horizontally or maximizing the window to
fulll screen doesn't have any effect on the issue.

We could discuss if we want to save the state of the Sidebar in the document.

So this is an UX question, best discussed in the Design Meeting.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 112655] New: Drawing from Draw cannot be cropped

2017-09-26 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=112655

Bug ID: 112655
Summary: Drawing from Draw cannot be cropped
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 5.4.1.2 release
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: enhancement
  Priority: medium
 Component: Writer
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: o...@prosa.dk

Description:
When copying a drawing into Writer the resulting image cannot be cropped.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Make a drawing in Draw
2. Ctrl-C
3. Paste drawing in Writer
4. Drawing cannot be cropped

Actual Results:
Drawing cannot be cropped

Expected Results:
Cropping should work just like any other image

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
While you _can_ crop the image in Draw using 'Figure > Subtract' it is
extremely cumbersome if you need to adjust the crop.

Confirmed in 5.4.1.2.

There is no problem in doing the same in Draw.

Also if the image is a polygon with a very wide stroke, half of the stroke can
be outside the page.

The cropping workaround for polygons requires you to copy the polygon to Draw,
then Figure > Subtract with a rectangle, and then copying back.

This is extremely cumbersome compared to Microsoft Word where you simply drag
the image outside the page.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 112650] Disable 'background settings for all pages' dialog appearing when inserting background image

2017-09-26 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=112650

--- Comment #5 from Yousuf Philips (jay) ---
(In reply to Cor Nouws from comment #3)
> Since it makes no distinction between various master pages, and indeed all
> slide masters are changed, IMO this function is meant for quick work.

In master slide mode when you change the background image of a master slide, it
doesnt ask you to assign that same image to all the other master slides, so why
would that make sense when you are in normal mode. And normally master slides
all have different background images. It would make more sense if when in
normal mode it asked to set the background image of the master slide assigned
to the current slide, but even that still would be annoying.

> One could think for a separate maybe: set background image / set background
> image for all slides. Or whatever.

I think you are missing one - set background image of slide's assigned master
slide. Ultimately the best option is for users to go to the correct place and
set the background image.

> OTOH, how often do you set a background image (is not per see the same as an
> image behind text and other objects.)

If you are a basic user (aka benjamin) who starts impress without a template
and has no knowledge of master slides, he would be assigning a background image
for each slide he creates.

This is really quite an irritating issue. I have to resize every window every

The document meta data say it was last modified with word 2013. MSO 2003 doesnt
have docx support natively. Yes a VML issue as its using the tag.

Here is the relevant XML

 ...

So it is supposed to be stroked (stroked="t") in black[1]
(strokecolor="windowText"). Looking in Word, it has a stroke weight of 0.75pt,
which is likely the default else there would have been a strokeweight attribute
in the tag.

just need to tag the ones that aren't. :D

Any suggestions on what the attribute name should be called in sfx.sdi and
whether we should have a single attribute value to indicate the type (e.g.
'SplitButton;') or whether it should be an attribute/value sequence (e.g.
'ControlType = Split,' ).

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 112288] FILESAVE: LibreOffice is stuck while saving (MACOS)

BTW: the attachment 133999 is a great interactivity test document. LO on Mac
becomes really sluggish when opening. My LO 5.[34] has problems to update the
blinking cursor because of the background spell-checking of all the nonsense
debug info. Should also be improved with this patch.

My trial fix in comment 6 caused a regression as bug 112515, so it has been
reverted. Removing myself from this bug and re-opening.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 112683] New: Ctrl not traversing cells which contain only data if used with =?UTF-8?Q?=20accessKey=20=E2=80=98v=E2=80=99=20?=(paste)

2017-09-26 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=112683

Bug ID: 112683
Summary: Ctrl not traversing cells which contain only data if
used with accessKey ‘v’ (paste)
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: unspecified
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Calc
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: ovari...@zoho.com

Description:
See 'Steps to Reproduce'

Thank you

Version: 5.4.1.2
Build ID: ea7cb86e6eeb2bf3a5af73a8fac570321527
CPU threads: 2; OS: Linux 4.10; UI render: default; VCL: gtk2
https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/gitweb?p=core.git=log=ea7cb86e6eeb2bf3a5af73a8fac570321527

Steps to Reproduce:
Incorrect behaviour (and the reason for this bug ticket)
1. Open “accessKey.odf”
2. Select cell D3
3. Press and hold the ‘Ctrl’ key
4. Press and release the ‘c’ key (for copy)
5. Press the downArrow key, i.e. ↓ or ▼
6. Release the downArrow key
7. Press and release the ‘v’ key (for paste)
8. If warning dialog box “You are pasting data into cells that already
contain data. Do you really want to overwrite the existing data?” appears,
Select ‘Yes’ by pressing and releasing the ‘Enter’ key
9. Repeat steps 5 and 8 to arrive at D24 (which does not happen)
10. Release the ‘Ctrl’ key
The cells that are traversed are:
D3, D5, D7, D9, D11, D13, D15, D17, D19, D21, D23, D25
The cells that have data should only be traversed as the ‘Ctrl’ key is pressed.

Correct behaviour
1. Open “accessKey.odf”
2. Select cell D3
3. Press and hold the ‘Ctrl’ key
4. Press the downArrow key, i.e. ↓ or ▼
5. Release the downArrow key
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until you arrive at D24
7. Release the ‘Ctrl’ key
Only cells with data are traversed, being:
D3, D5, D7, D9, D11, D13, D15, D18, D20, D22, D24

Actual Results:
If accessKey 'v' (for paste) is used in conjunction with 'Ctrl' the amount of
each movement remains as 2 (seems to be the first amount of movement) instead
of moving to the next non-empty cell.

Expected Results:
Only cells with data should be traversed.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

--- Comment #13 from Yousuf Philips (jay) ---
As Timur mentioned in comment 11, the issue boils down to the "Layout in table
cell" position option being set in the docx and LO not being able to handle it.

Here is the relevant xml -

@Regina: is there an equivalent odf attribute that the position of an object
takes the table cell top left corner as the basis of its positioning rather
than the page's top left corner?

@Justin, @Mike: would it be simple enough to take the cell's top corner value
and add it to the image's top corner value to give it its correct top corner
value based on the page's top corner?
