thanks for reporting the issue.

I've tested in 4.1.3.2 and 4.2.0.beta2 on Ubuntu. In both cases I do not have
the problem.

So it looks as a Windows specific problem ?

Basic Library

Sorry about that. I tested the load Calc. Preparing extensions "Combinatorial
formulas". Macro generates a formula combining, Variations without repetitions
and variations with repetition and Factorial (it can also Variations without
repetitions, but the reason it has).
- When developing patterns easily overload occurs machine
- I tested what happens when you type "Expad all" formula for the factorial
(10) = 3,628,800 rows.
- The development should report the impossibility of operations. This will
prevent the fall of LO (AOO)
- The formulas but do not test capabilities of the machine and the fall is
often overload.
- The error showed me sometime after the 3rd a system crash or not work
"smaller factorials that fit easily".
- Matrix syntax to use only the factorial and variations without repetition.
--
I enclose my library for factorial n = 10th There are 2 types of patterns.
Hence follows the story of manipulation.
---
After running the macros are generated two lines:
1 the lines are just starting numbers (this is for all the different patterns
of the same)
Second line are custom formulas that are copied normally (array is just in
line)
-
Patterns in the final version offers more options dialogue (No expand, expand
automatically keep the formula, leaving only numbers and "associative table" -
a system of reference in which it is possible to read anything - such as
disordered alphabetic character, a word, and the like - the ability to encrypt
a huge compression ...). Offers in the library is not complete and solves the
problem of how to overload using the On Error GoTo ... But the patterns are
functional for manual copying.
-
The library is a macro GetFactorial10_i plus "normal" = GetFactorial10. Both
works "well", but the formula "normal" (without the "i" at the end) depending
on which line starts. These formulas must be correct for the start line MOD
(FACT (x)) = 1 This defect removed in version GetFactorial10_i. This version
creates its own order (yellow background).
-
The problem up long tables of formulas in other columns (sheets and workbooks)
I have almost solved, but only for version numbers alone (formulas and
associative table not)
--
The purpose of the formula, GetFactorial10_i the user (start at the cursor)
The purpose of the formula, GetFactorial10 the preparation of user functions
similar to the functions ROT13.

Sorry about that. It could have causes other than the fault LO Calc. I'll check
and write.
Thank you Petr

Created attachment 90394
  --> https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=90394&action=edit
SVG exports of slide 1 and 3 (from orig ODP) and some screenshots.

Like bug #66900 this is a rather general bug report, which touches on several
different issues. While there does appear to have been a regression in the
handling of certain objects in SVG within Impress, the situation with SVG
handling has many associated bug reports and is not simple, particularly since
v4.0. The ODP provided in comment #0 contains three slides (s1, s2, s3), each
with a single SVG. I have not dealt with s2 as is essentially the same as s1.
Here are some details about the SVGs:

s1:
Source: http://openclipart.org/people/emilie.rollandin/diagramma_a_torta_2.svg
Generator: Adobe Illustrator 15.0.0, SVG Export Plug-In . SVG Version: 6.00
Build 0

s3:
Source:
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/7/74/Normal_Distribution_PDF.svg
Does not validate as SVG 1.1 + XHTML5 + MathML 3.0:
Line 4, Column 232: Inkscape element grid not allowed as child of Sodipodi
element namedview in this context. Error refers to this line:

The validation error for the s3 SVG does not appear to be related as removing
the problem element ensures validation, but does not fix the exporting issue
described here. I opened the ODP under Ubuntu 10.04 x86_64 running:

- v3.3.0.4 OOO330m19 Build: 6
- v3.4.6.2 OOO340m1 Build: 602
- v3.5.7.2 Build ID: 3215f89-f603614-ab984f2-7348103-1225a5b
- v3.6.7.2 Build ID: e183d5b
- v4.0.6.2 Build ID: 2e2573268451a50806fcd60ae2d9fe01dd0ce24
- v4.1.3.2 Build ID: 70feb7d99726f064edab4605a8ab840c50ec57a

I then exported s1 and s3 to SVG under each of these versions. While there are
some small differences between v3.3.0.4, v3.4.6.2, v3.5.7.2, and v3.6.7.2 the
resulting SVGs are largely OK. In both v4.0.6.2 and v4.1.3.2 however there is a
significant degradation in the handling of:

a. Bounding for gradient fills (refer s1 examples).
b. Complete lack of support for exporting chart object (refer s3 examples).

I have included screenshots in the case of s3 to show what I am seeing on
screen, as the chart entirely fails to export, even though a lot of data is
seemingly written the exported SVG. These would appear to be the two main
problems described in this report. Given that the problem only applies to v4.0
and later, this report may be another artefact of bug 62284. Problem (a) would
also appear to be related to bug 47441 (and there are many similar bug reports
in the 47000-49000 range dealing with specific import / export filter details).
Problem (b) is a more serious regression, exhibiting the type of behaviour in
the attachment to comment #4 for the v4.0 series.

The exported SVG for s1 v3672 contains a large ECMAScript. The exported SVG for
s1 v4062 shows a doubling in size (over v3672) as a result of the SVG only
appearing to contain an large embedded raster object. The exported SVG for s1
v4132 is smaller (although still large) as a result of containing many path
fill commands e.g.,

>

This tends to indicate large changes in the manner in which LO exports to SVG
under recent series. I imagine this report is essentially a duplicate of
several other bug reports that together describe the same problems indicated
here.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 48918] FORMATTING: grow / shrink custom animation effect mstill missing

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=48918

rainyda...@gmail.com changed:

   What|Removed |Added

 Status|RESOLVED|REOPENED
 Resolution|INVALID |---

Reopening this bug as I am running into the same issue as the original
reporter.

**Bug Description**

In LibreOffice Impress, there should be a custom animation under the Emphasis
category for Grow/Shrink.

Others have confirmed that this feature does exist in Impress. If you import a
PowerPoint project that uses this feature, it works correctly in Impress (see
OpenOffice Forum and Launchpad links below).

**Related Background Information**

It was "reported" and confirmed back in 2006. I say "reported" because
searching various bug trackers and discussion leads me to this OpenOffice
discussion being the first (and only) reported incident back in 2006:
http://www.oooforum.org/forum/viewtopic.phtml?t=33998

The first real bug report was in Launchpad in 2010 on the Ubuntu bug tracker
for both OpenOffice and LibreOffice Impress as it effects both projects:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/651511

This bug report references that discussion and I believe whoever reported this
bug also is referencing that forum discussion (but without providing a link).

No fix was ever implemented by Ubuntu because it was deemed something that it
should be fixed upstream. Also, since no new packages from
OpenOffice/LibreOffice were going into the reported version of Ubuntu, the bug
was closed as Won't Fix.

Searching on the OpenOffice bug tracker, the closest thing I found was this
report about Grow/Shrink in the Draw application:
https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=82717 There does not appear to be
any report of this bug in the OpenOffice tracker for Impress.

Searching on the LibreOffice bug tracker obviously led me to this being the
only reported incident of the bug.

**Updated Information / Confirmation**

I've tested that this option is missing on both:

* Windows 7 x86_64 - LibreOffice Impress version 4.1.3.2
* ArchLinux x86_64 - LibreOffice Impress version 4.1.3.2

If needed, I can test this on other platforms as well but the bug seems
straightforward. If needed, I can get a PowerPoint file with the animation to
test in Impress when I go to work on Monday.

Labels "1", "2", "3" and "text" will appear.

3. Save the file.
4. Reopen it and check the 3rd figure.

The only label showing will be "4".

Sure looks like duplicate behavior to me...

Like ign_christian I cannot see any distinguishable difference between this bug
and bug 61314. The use of "differs" in the summary is not descriptive enough. A
bug report needs to explicitly describe one problem and this one is largely
about the same background colour issue reported in bug 61314. It is possible
the intention was to indicate the problem with font (from comment #0):

> For example do not follow the patterns of font and ...

... however the included files are not a good test for this problem. The
example files provided also do not include an ODF to test. At this point I feel
it would likely be easier to close this bug (as a DUPLICATE) and open a more
specific bug report if required.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 46860] LO gives wrong font name when export ODG to SVG

2013-12-06 Thread bugzilla-daemon

Created attachment 90385
  --> https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=90385&action=edit
ODG and SVGs exported under various versions of LO.

I think this bug can be RESOLVED as FIXED. Attached ODG contains two text boxes
(text in Linux Libertine G and DejaVu Sans) and was created under Ubuntu 10.04
x86_64 running v3.3.0.4. It was then exported to SVG under Ubuntu 10.04 x86_64
running:

- v3.3.0.4 OOO330m19 Build: 6
- v3.4.6.2 OOO340m1 Build: 602
- v3.5.7.2 Build ID: 3215f89-f603614-ab984f2-7348103-1225a5b
- v3.6.7.2 Build ID: e183d5b
- v4.0.6.2 Build ID: 2e2573268451a50806fcd60ae2d9fe01dd0ce24
- v4.1.3.2 Build ID: 70feb7d99726f064edab4605a8ab840c50ec57a

Resultant code in the SVGs (also attached) indicates that this issue appears to
have been fixed:

There's a bug in older versions of bugzilla where the mimetype is not
automatically set for attachments:

Interesting... perhaps there's something that we represent differently when we
write-out the document to disk.

> One row (not always the same one, but
> usually the same one) is driven to the next page even though it clearly has
> enough space on the current page. The row above it does not change its size

When I first open this document the Status Bar displays "Page 0 / 42", however
if I wait for an extra 10 seconds or so, it updates to "Page 0 / 43".

> I can use the mouse to "squeeze" the height of the row above the driven row,
> and thus making the document 41 pages again,

Confirmed.

> but when I save, close and open
> the document, it re-calculates the sizes and becomes 43-pages long once
> again.

Confirmed -- I can drop the page count down to 41 or 42, depending upon how I
tweak the bottom of those rows, but after every save and reload, the page count
pops back to '43'.

>
> If I do not correct manually the 43-long document, add a character, save and

In my case, the break was occurring just *before* "Had I no eyes".

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 72293] EDITING: Crash after a second deleting of rows in the sample file.

2013-12-06 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=72293

Created attachment 90383
  --> https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=90383&action=edit
typescript with backtrace from core file

The crash is signal 6, Aborted.

The interesting part of the terminal output is:

/usr/include/c++/4.7/debug/safe_iterator.h:292:error: attempt to increment
a past-the-end iterator.

Objects involved in the operation:
iterator "this" @ 0x0x7fffc3f5f820 {
type =
N11__gnu_debug14_Safe_iteratorIN9__gnu_cxx17__normal_iteratorIPKP13ScFormulaCellNSt9__cxx19986vectorIS4_SaIS4_ENSt7__debug6vectorIS4_S9_
(constant iterator);
  state = past-the-end;
  references sequence with type
`NSt7__debug6vectorIP13ScFormulaCellSaIS2_EEE' @ 0x0x7fffc3f5f820
}
Application Error

Backtrace starts at line 132 of the typescript.

This observation comes from master commit 3d7d622, fetched 2013-11-19,
configured as:

--enable-option-checking=fatal
--enable-dbgutil
--enable-crashdump
--without-system-postgresql
--without-myspell-dicts
--with-extra-buildid
--without-doxygen
--with-external-tar=/home/terry/lo_hacking/git/src

built and running on debian-wheezy.

Note well that this is a debug build. That can change the kind of
failure, hopefully in an informative way.

Created attachment 90382
  --> https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=90382&action=edit
A file that changes its own number of pages :-)

I have an .odt document with a long table with ~200 rows 2 columns, one in
Hebrew and one in English.

When I finished the document it was 41 pages long, but when I close and
re-opened it it becomes 43 pages long. One row (not always the same one, but
usually the same one) is driven to the next page even though it clearly has
enough space on the current page. The row above it does not change its size -
it simply has plenty of white space below it. When I open the file I can see in
the bottom bar the number "41" changing into "43" half a second after openning
the file.

I can use the mouse to "squeeze" the height of the row above the driven row,
and thus making the document 41 pages again, but when I save, close and open
the document, it re-calculates the sizes and becomes 43-pages long once again.

If I do not correct manually the 43-long document, add a character, save and
close it, it becomes 42 pages long the next time I open it...

Te "evil split" usually occurs below the stanza which says:

"'Had I no eyes but ears, my ears would love
That inward beauty and invisible;
Or were I deaf, thy outward parts would move
Each part in me that were but sensible:
Though neither eyes nor ears, to hear nor see,
Yet should I be in love by touching thee.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 72423] New: Endnotes out of sequence

2013-12-06 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=72423

  Priority: medium
Bug ID: 72423
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
   Summary: Endnotes out of sequence
  Severity: critical
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Windows (All)
  Reporter: m...@mikelcrowley.com
  Hardware: Other
Status: UNCONFIRMED
   Version: unspecified
 Component: Writer
   Product: LibreOffice

I am writing a rather lengthy book (>450 pages) and recently decided to convert
most of my footnotes to endnotes. I managed to accomplish this but, to my
dismay, I discovered that the endnotes were out of order. Up to #74 they were
fine but after 74 came 270 to 194 (i.e. in reverse order). After that came
130-134 then 154-159 then 242-261 and so on. I'm not even sure that all the
endnotes were present.

I have tried cutting and pasting one chapter at a time into a new document but
the problem persists. However, removing and re-inserting the endnote works most
of the time - but not always. At one time I thought that the bug occurred only
when an end-note anchor was in a bulleted list but that does not seem to be the
case.

An extract of the document, showing the out-of-order endnotes, is attached.

I think it shouldn't show the new dialog when replacing. only when using 'find

just don't remember.

And yes, I think it would be best to not populate the dialog with more than
1000 items let's say.

> When a folder with templates has more then two rows of files, using the Down

> (notice: the vertical scroll bar is much smaller then in 4.1.x)

REPRO STEPS:
- Open LibreOffice
- File -> Templates -> Manage -> Documents

If you need some templates:
- Download and unzip attachment "silly-templates_fdo.72287.zip"
- Click on 'My Templates' and then on the 'Import' button
- Import all of the silly-templates (click "Open" to complete)

On with the repro:
- Double-click on 'My Templates'
- Shrink the window size down to make sure that you have at least 3 rows of
templates
- Click on the first template in the first row
- Arrow-down to the third row

RESULT: window does not shift down to bring the 3rd row of templates into view

*HOWEVER*, I am able to select templates in the 3rd row, and if I hit the
"Enter" key, I am able to open them up.

So, NOREPRO:
- Templates in 3rd+ row not selectable
- Templates in 3rd+ row not openable

REPRO Confirmed:
- Window does not shift down to bring rows 3+ into view

(tentatively tagging as Confirmed)

Summary amended to make it clearer what the problem reported in this bug is.
The particular issue is as indicated in comment #2. The master page has a
background color of "Chart 10" (#ff950e) i.e., in styles.xml:

>
> draw:fill-color="#ff950e" draw:fill-image-width="0cm"
> draw:fill-image-height="0cm"/>
>

... while the slide in the presentation (attached in comment #1) uses "Sea
blue" (#0066cc) i.e., in content.xml:

>
> presentation:background-objects-visible="true" draw:fill="solid"
> draw:fill-color="#0066cc" draw:fill-image-width="0cm"
> draw:fill-image-height="0cm" presentation:display-footer="true"
> presentation:display-page-number="true"
> presentation:display-date-time="true"/>
>

Export to SVG results in the graphic using "Chart 10" rather than "Sea blue".
Any use of Format > Page... > Background tab on a slide appears to be ignored
i.e., in this case if there was no associated master page then no page
background color would be exported.

If was possible a way doing easy to find information about this kind of

change caused by:

commit e80a8b6f14fac6bb6cc7ea55b118f95472d5b654
Author: Lennard Wasserthal
AuthorDate: Sat Feb 9 14:31:21 2013 +0100

fdo#55430 switches off text mode when clicking an other object.

This patch complements 85ea03ae536831649b104694d08dced4d4c8663f (and
6fbba11da54b52554941f00b07e42cc5d7a1643c, which didn't work correctly
before)
This also fixes issues when clicking on another object to stop text
editing.
Switches off text mode, and instantaneously selects the other object.
(Rotation doesn't belong into the ./sd/ text routine AT ALL, which also
caused bug 37482,
which is resolved differently from now on)
(Creating text fields doesn't belong into the ./sc/ shape text routine
either, and if this executed, it causes funny glitches)
Known issues: text mode stays on when you use drag'n drop (the one WITH
waiting, to move to other applications etc).

... so if a click doesn't select an object inside another marked object
it's a bug, but if a click drags the object inside marked object it's also a
bug?

a correct rendering.
If the svg file is loaded into LO Draw using same procedure, see same incorrect
rendering. If file is "open in LibreOffice Writer" in Linux filemanager window,
LO Draw opens the file and renders the file "almost" correctly.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 72072] Text disappear when editing a 90deg Textbox

2013-12-06 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=72072

Qubit changed:

   What|Removed |Added

 Whiteboard||PossibleRegression
   ||Confirmed:4.2.0.0.beta2:Ubu
   ||ntu
 CC||qu...@runcibility.com

CONFIRMED on LO 4.2.0.0.beta2 + Ubuntu 12.04.3

(In reply to comment #0)
> Steps to reproduce:

0) Open LibreOffice writer

> 1)
> - Draw a rectangle and fill some Text in it (The error is in Writer and Draw)

(Hint: double-click on the rectangle to add text)

> 2)
> - Turn the rectangle by 90 deg

a) Right-click -> Position and Size -> Rotation
b) Change 'Rotation angle' to 90deg.
c) Click "OK"

> 3)
> - Edit the Text -> the Text disapear partwise (see Picture)

a) Double-click on rectangle
b) Add text that is wider than the dimensions of the text box
c) Hit 'Return' to save

While editing the text I'd often get a white bg behind the text area. I could
always repro the problem if I
- did all of the steps above
- Then double-clicked on the text again

Basically: The text needs to be wider than the width of the rectangle at the
time when you double-click on it.

> 4)
> - Resize the brogramm window a bit -> the Text will appear as expected
>

Ayup

Question: is this a regression?

I mean: delete all cells, except for about 10 "abcde" cells. Now try to do the
steps again -> also long freeze. I don't think the freeze is due the population
of that new dialog after the find and replace.

2013-12-06 Thread bugzilla-daemon

(Printing to the rear paper feed slot on my Epson EF-3520 now works, so fixed I
guess...)

In fact it turns out we were binning any print-option which didn't have a
comment in the PPD, which is in fact the case for most options (a sanity check
mistakenly checked that we had a comment, whereas presumably it was intended to
instead ensure that there was in fact an option).

(Page size has a comment including the page dimensions hence it worked fine --
most options don't seem to have such a comment, e.g. InputSlot.)

The crash seems to have something to do with the formatting of column B.
Try that: click on the header of the column to select the entire column, then
press ctrl+M to remove all manual formatting (don't worry with the loss of date
formatting), then ctrl+S. Most of the time, it works for me. Yes, most of the
time but not always. If it works you can restore the date formatting and it
continues to works.
