https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=125327 --- Comment #6 from QA Administrators --- Dear Roeland, To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year. There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present. If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. Please DO NOT Update the version field Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker) Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not appropriate in this case) If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so: 1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/ 2. Test your bug 3. Leave a comment with your results. 4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo'; 4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat: https://web.libera.chat/?settings=#libreoffice-qa Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone! [Bug 160699] Performance: delay loading OpenPGP key details until needed for an operation
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=160699 --- Comment #6 from Patrick Luby (volunteer) --- (In reply to Patrick Luby (volunteer) from comment #5) > But for some reason, one or more of your fonts are very slow to load. The > problem is how do we identify which font? Do you have any non-system fonts > installed in the "My Fonts" sidebar item in the Font Book application? Does > deactivating those fonts and rebooting stop the hang? After thinking a bit more about this, I think the problem is likely an unusually large font file. Both samples show a memcpy() at the bottom of the main thread so I am guessing that the size of the glyph table that is being copied from the font file is very large. So, before you spend any time rebooting, can you look at your fonts in the My Fonts section of the Font Book application. Right-click on each font and select the "Show in Finder" popup menu item to see the file size of the font in the Finder. For comparison, one of the largest font files bundled with macOS is the Apple Color Emoji font file and, at least on macOS Sonoma 14.4.1, it shows 188.3 MB in size in the Finder. So if you see a similar sized or larger font file, I can try installing that font on my machine and see if I can reproduce this bug. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

When converting the PDF figure to bitmap, it exports as expected. This was tested on a fresh flatpak install. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Impress and import a PDF figure 2. Export the presentation to PDF 3. Open the exported PDF Actual Results: PDF figures in the exported PDF are cut vertically showing only 50% of the figure Expected Results: PDF figures in the exported PDF shows as they do in the original ODP document Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: In the LibreOffice version 7.5.9.2 (rpm pacakge), the bug was removing the PDF figure fully. In the LibreOffice version 24.2.2.2 (flatpak), the bug removes only 50% of the PDF figure. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
[Bug 160711] XLOOKUP function in search for empty cell
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=160711 --- Comment #5 from ady --- JIC I was not clear enough (for whoever reads this ticket): * The problem in Calc 24.8 alpha ATM (vs. Excel) seems to be triggered when the "Search Criterion" argument is really _omitted_. * In Excel's XLOOKUP(), omitting the first argument in XLOOKUP() is _not_ the same as explicitly writing "" (aka empty string) as argument in the formula in Calc. * Omitting the "Search Criterion" argument is _not_ the same as using a reference to a cell that is blank empty. * In Calc 24.8 alpha ATM, omitting the "Search Criterion" argument seems to always result in (#N/A) error. * In Excel's XLOOKUP(), when omitting the "Search Criterion" argument, it performs a "blank empty cell" search in the "Search Array" area, providing the relevant result according to the whole set of arguments. Additionally: * Excel returns 0 (zero) when the _content_ of the _resulting_ cell/range ("Search Array" argument) is empty. This is _not_ related to the "Search Criterion" argument (except when the "Search Criterion" argument is omitted, as described above). This is _not_ the problem in Calc 24.8 alpha ATM. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

And when it has happened it > does not happen on a second opening. LibreOfficeDev shows as "Not > responding" in Activity Monitor when the hang happens. > > Attaching another process sample. Your latest sample is hanging in the same place: loading fonts. It makes sense that this hang only happens on the first launch of LibreOffice after rebooting. The reason is that once a font is first loaded, macOS keeps it cached in memory so that LibreOffice and any other applications can use the font quickly. But for some reason, one or more of your fonts are very slow to load. The problem is how do we identify which font? Do you have any non-system fonts installed in the "My Fonts" sidebar item in the Font Book application? Does deactivating those fonts and rebooting stop the hang? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

[Bug 160711] problems with LOOKUP function in search for empty cell
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=160711 ady changed: What|Removed |Added Ever confirmed|0 |1 Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEW --- Comment #3 from ady --- In XLOOKUP(), the argument named "Lookup" (aka "lookup_value" in Excel) is required, but if it is omitted then XLOOKUP() should return blank cells it finds in the "Array" area (aka "lookup_array" in Excel). Currently in Calc 24.8 alpha, this seems to be not true, so the search fails to find a match and thus the #N/A result is given. For the sample in this report, the first blank cell would return "itself", and Excel's XLOOKUP() returns 0 (zero) for blank (empty) results. In Excel, this is not the same as not finding a match. IIRC, also Google Sheets fails to comply with this condition, but I could be misremembering. @Regina, BTW, IINM, that build you posted in comment 0 lacks the latest modifications to XLOOKUP (adding regex support). It should not alter your result regarding XLOOKUP() for this case anyway. Please also keep in mind that other functions such as CELL() have their own bugs. I hope we are focusing on XLOOKUP() in this report. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=148449 Rory Fellowes changed: What|Removed |Added Assignee|libreoffice-b...@lists.free |roryfello...@gmail.com |desktop.org | CC||roryfello...@gmail.com --- Comment #4 from Rory Fellowes --- Created attachment 193729 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=193729=edit This is a sample, taking a few paragraphs of my book and adding text set first t o Title and then to proWrite1.5. In both cases, much to my surprise since I never use Title, the bug persists. I hope you can solve this, if not for me (I'm used to it), for others who create their own styles. Just to make sure it's clear: I now see kf5 is the same as win, no distinction necessary. OK, let's flip it then, and ask that icons hidden in main menus should also be hidden in context menus. The Sheet main menu / context menu is a good example. Another example would be "Rename Page" in Draw: no icon in Page menu, icon in context menu in Page pane. But as noted comment 20 The "Export As Images" extension [1] already provides this functionality of exporting an entire sd Draw or Impress document one image at a time (though its SVG export is wonky). Alternatively, the Impress Export to SVG generates a dated SMIL 2.0 compliant [2] slide show of SVG images. But as for bug 117708 the feature needs rework. Both in its UI, and compliance with more current SMIL 3.0 While the Draw Export... to SVG munges a multi-page drawing selection into a single image (similar to the Extension's handling, likely same export filter). =-ref-= [1] https://extensions.libreoffice.org/en/extensions/show/export-as-images [2] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Synchronized_Multimedia_Integration_Language -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
