Hi there,
yes, finale and the other program you referenced are available for the
mac, with its company makemusic deeply
interested in improving its accessibility.
They could speak reasonably to what works well in fact, quite a positive
experience.
no idea why I would consult the source you referenced, I am not a braille
user, with my goal here being composing via voice.
That being said, I am told by another musician experiencing blindness
that exporting
to braille has been a part of finale. again cannot speak to this first
hand, not something I require.
Best,
Karen

I don't think you'd be doing either Finale or Sibelius on a Mac, with or
without accessibility requirements. Are those applications even
available for Macintosh?
Suggest you look at the announcement from the DAISY Braille Music
Project I just excerpted to this list re Musescore.
Best,
Janina

Hi folks,
Granted i called makemusic.com, the company behind finale today to ask.
still, my goal involves using my voice for music composing, with my
wondering if finale, or another music notation program has a good voiceover
track record?
In theory I might incorporate the daw, how is garage band these days?
Thanks,
Karen
