Re: [MBZ] Upgrades to OSX
Oh Woger. we have the same machine! I swore I would keep it forever, as itÂ’s the last dual-boot mac. (Well, except for the new intel duo ones with Bootcamp) I keep drooling over the new ones, but since I am heavy in legacy Photoshop and Pagemaker, I'll keep the iMac I have. But How does the 10.4.7 work with the "older" machine? _ Frank Pembleton aka DS 10.3.9 Manchester, MO KLEB FOR PREZ!! -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, September 25, 2006 3:51 PM <> My G4 867 (out of date, now) has OS 9.2 and OS 10.4.7 co-existing on an unpartitioned hard drive and I can switch back and forth at will. Re: [MBZ] Upgrades to OSX
<> OK, you big baby. If you are thinking about upgrading to OSX from OS9.something and are a bit wary, head on down to your local Mac-owned Mac store and ask your questions at the "Genius Desk." These guys are not sales people but are there just to solve problems all day long. It's free but since they are always busy, you can go the store's website and make an appointment. Or, you can go to any Mac on display there and make an online appointment and come back later. From home in the morning is the best way to get a convenient time.
