Pulldown menu msg
Is there a message we can trap when the user moves the mouse out of a pulldown menu, for example to automatically dismiss the menu? /H ___ metacard mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.runrev.com/mailman/listinfo/metacard
MC usage poll: 47 votes
We got our 47th vote at the MC IDE usage poll today: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MC_IDE/surveys?id=11737473 Whoohoo! With 175 members, we only have 128 more votes to gather. This is a very helpful poll, which helps determine the level of effort put into the MC IDE. Please take a moment to cast your vote there. Thanks. -- Richard Gaskin Fourth World Media Corporation ___ [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.FourthWorld.com ___ metacard mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.runrev.com/mailman/listinfo/metacard
Re: How to do clean install of MetaCard?
Hello Richard and y'all The FlipsIDE plugin will make everything really smooth ... just one click and you switch from Rev to MC (or to Rossiland or to Constellation or anything else you want). Including FreeGUI ? ;-)) Set a preference and it becomes zero clicks. :) Great design guideline, e.g. utter simplicity and no unnecessary tasks for the user. Keep up the marvelous work. :-) Regards, Alain __ Do you Yahoo!? New and Improved Yahoo! Hi Richard, Chipp Walters wrote: Thanks Jacque, This should probably be included in the installation instructions at the MC IDE group front page. We already use the maximum number of characters allowed. :) But really, this is the first time this has come up. Very few people use the MC IDE, and about 98% of those who do were using it before the acquisition. The FlipsIDE plugin will make everything really smooth, as soon as Kevin's done helping me debug why it causes Rev to crash. Once it's done you'll never need to dissect the OS X engine bundle again -- just one click and you switch from Rev to MC (or to Rossiland or to Constellation or anything else you want). Set a preference and it becomes zero clicks. :) I've seen very impressive screenshots of Constellation but Rossiland also sounds EXTREMELY promising :-) Do you know something that we don't? ;-) I wish i could make it to one of your california Rev summits... In reality, it's just some tools I've been working on, along the lines of Jerry, Richard, and probably a few other folks. The project has taken a back seat for the moment, but there's a little screenshot here: http://www.tactilemedia.com/download/ionn_preview.jpg I wish i could make it to one of your california Rev summits... Including FreeGUI ? ;-)) The very moment it becomes its own IDE I'll happily make a FlipsIDE module for it, as I noted on the FreeGUI list a while back. Set a preference and it becomes zero clicks. :) Great design guideline, e.g. utter simplicity and no unnecessary tasks for the user. Keep up the marvelous work. :-) Thank you. Now if only I can get it to stop making a hard crash when using the Message Box after returning to the Rev IDE. If you use it in one direction, to flip from Rev to another IDE, it works great. But flipping back to Rev will crash the first time you do a put. Kevin has kindly offered to help me diagnose this, and now that v2.5 is out the door we may see some movement on that soon... -- Richard Gaskin Fourth World Media Corporation ___ [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.FourthWorld.com ___ metacard mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.runrev.com/mailman/listinfo/metacard
