RE: [BTMO] At least don't support...

Just as Wolves are remembered as the dominant force world football in the 50's,
Man Utd will soon be remembered as the dominant force in football during the
90's 00's. Just as the world continues to turn, new dynasties will be
created; I just wish we had the £300+m income that they have (without their
debt).

Manchester United.

*   Financially rooted.
* Need 80m a year to pay interest which requires sellign a Ronaldo or
Rooney every season.
* That money can't come in from outside once the Financial Fair Play
rules come in so they'll be that much behind their competitors on transfer fees
and wages every season.
* Ferguson will go eventually leaving a big gap that is impossible to
fill. Would Mourinho go there now given the financial circumstances?
* An ageing first team that requires massive investment.
* Arch rivals with money to burn. I can see Man City becomin the best
club in England in a few years time.

The beauty of it is all of those people that have started supporting Man U in
the last 20 years can find out what it's like begin a true football fan.

What are the chances of a re-enactment of Denis Law in 1974?

He moved from Manchester United to Manchester City and thought he had relegated
Manchester United with a back-heeled goal in the last game of the season. They
would have gone down anyway but Law was substituted as his head had dropped.

Same with Rooney in 2014 when the finances catch up with United?

We can only dream.
