Re: [Oralux] The config files

2004-12-22 Thread Gilles Casse
Usually when a usb storage device is detected, saveconfig proposed
/mnt/sda1 as an option.
For info, the lsusb command gives the list of the detected usb devices.

Besides it, if you want to take in account the conf files from the
floppy, despite the issue, it is possible to write a short
script which installs the few interesting files. This
script would be saved on your floppy and yes started after each boot.

Cheers,

Gilles

Hello,

A usb key is a small stick which includes flash memory. 64 or 128 Mo
are very common. This is even proposed as one of the tool of a swiss
army knife smile.

Besides it, once under Yasr, you may want to reinstall the
configuration files from the floppy. I guess that the interesting ones
are your .emacs, .vm and also your brltty configuration.
Are there other configurations files useful for the travel?

Cheers,
Gilles

Bonjour,

On trouve même

A+
Gilles

Hmm...I don't happen to have and can't afford a USB key (at the moment). Would
the card reader work?

Thanks,
Terrence

So you're saying to boot from the CD and *then* do the copy each time? And the
card is actually a USB card reader, which uses flash memory cards.
