Bug#572141: libffado2: Please include a Debug build
Package: libffado2 Version: 2.0.0-1 Severity: wishlist It would be nice to have a Debug build of libffado. I'm trying to send a bug report to the developers, but they recommend sending the full debug logs (output of the -v6 flag). Compiling on my own would seems to be too much hassle. Maybe there can be a libffado2-dbg package, which includes the debug symbols? Thanks for the packaging efforts. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.33-rt4 (SMP w/2 CPU cores; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages libffado2 depends on: ii libc62.10.2-6Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libexpat12.0.1-7 XML parsing C library - runtime li ii libgcc1 1:4.4.3-3 GCC support library ii libglib2.0-0 2.22.4-1The GLib library of C routines ii libglibmm-2.4-1c2a 2.22.1-2C++ wrapper for the GLib toolkit ( ii libiec61883-01.2.0-0.1 an partial implementation of IEC 6 ii libraw1394-112.0.5-1 library for direct access to IEEE ii libsigc++-2.0-0c2a 2.2.4.2-1 type-safe Signal Framework for C++ ii libstdc++6 4.4.3-3 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libxml++2.6-22.26.1-1A C++ interface to the GNOME XML l ii libxml2 2.7.6.dfsg-2+b1 GNOME XML library libffado2 recommends no packages. libffado2 suggests no packages. -- no debconf information ___ pkg-multimedia-maintainers mailing list pkg-multimedia-maintainers@lists.alioth.debian.org http://lists.alioth.debian.org/mailman/listinfo/pkg-multimedia-maintainers

Thanks Adrian. Building wasn't as hard :) Was funny when I replaced the library while sound was running -> crash. This morning I got the new package with debug as well.
