Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Test] Repo for LMS 7.9.0 on Synology DSM 5.*
Hi Just a little confused now! There seems to be LMSUpdate which i'm currently using and is based on the Synology package. Then there is the LMSRepack. Can I ask whats the difference between them and what I should be using? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotify Protocol Handler - play Spotify on all your Squeezeboxen
I read somewhere (probably in this thread) that Spotify synchronisation between Radio and Touch is meant to work properly with the Spotify Protocol Handler installed. When I tried it would only work when I uninstalled the Spotify Protocol Handler. If synch is supposed to work with the protocol handler what could I be doing wrong? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotify Protocol Handler - play Spotify on all your Squeezeboxen
I use the wonderful LMS with soptify now for years, and in mist cases all works fine (or I was able to correct my Problems). Now since some weeks I have the problem, that the Songs played with Spotify will jump to the next song every 10 seconds if I play Spotify on more than one Player. That's the unfortunate reality if you use any player other than Touch/Radio. You can't play on more than one at a time (except if synced). -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotify Protocol Handler - play Spotify on all your Squeezeboxen
Hi *, I use the wonderful LMS with soptify now for years, and in mist cases all works fine (or I was able to correct my Problems). Now since some weeks I have the problem, that the Songs played with Spotify will jump to the next song every 10 seconds if I play Spotify on more than one Player. Using only one Player works fine, but immediately if i select a song on spotify on a second Player, all tracks will be skipped on both (or sometimes they stopped) after about 10 seconds. I have installed only a few plugins, Spotify (Logitech) and Spotify Protocol Handler (using advanced Spotify account). Installed the newest 7.9 LMS. Does anyone else had such Problems and soved it ? I don´t know what to do now... thanks a lot for help ! Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: UPnPBridge = integrate UPnP/DLNA players with LMS (squeeze2upnp)
Thanks for this information. I'll try to find out the volume scaling of the Sony speakers. But I'm facing another issue: As far as I understood the excellent documentation, UPNP players should synchronize as if they were native SBs. In my case, however, there is a lapse of ca. 1 sec. (the Sonys behind the Squeezelite players). Where should I look to fix that, in the LMS settings, in Squeezelite or in the UPNP bridge? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: UPnPBridge = integrate UPnP/DLNA players with LMS (squeeze2upnp)
I do not recommend the transparent forward as LMS might change the volume of the player while you're using it for something else. But the no feedback is what you need. You probably can fix it another way using volume scale because what might likely happen is that the player is not having a 0.100 scale so when LMS sends a request on a 0.100 scale, the player sends a feedback on a scale of 1..30 hence the 'pumping'. You can solve that by ignoring feedback but when you change the volume on the player directly you will not see it changing in LMS, which might be fine for you, or you figure out the scale of your player and apply it using the volume scale paramwter LMS 7.7, 7.8 and 7.9 - 5xRadio, 3xBoom, 4xDuet, 1xTouch, 1 SB2. I modified the plugin to utilize the wunderground.com API. This was intended to improve the reliability of the plugin. I have a repo for this version at: http://superdatetimewu.sourceforge.net/repo.xml Since there are two versions of this plugin now, this repo needs to be added manually. Also, since this version of the plugin uses the wunderground.com API, to use it you need to get a key - you can get for free by signing up as a "developer". The second version of the plugin has been maintained by BoomX2 - he posts periodic updates to the plugin within this thread. tcutting's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17402 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=14327 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: UPnPBridge = integrate UPnP/DLNA players with LMS (squeeze2upnp)
Pbilippe, Thank you so much for this great plugin. It makes me hoping for the chance to use my "old" Sony SA-NS510 network speakers with LMS. I've installed the plugin, and got them playing without changing the configuration. However, the playback is not ok yet, volume changes up and down almost as if it was a vibrato effect. Tried with the dev version, too, but the problem remains. As there are so many parameters that can be combined: Any hint where I could start? Do you need logs?
