Hi Craig, Would it be possible to have the power button (upper left corner, when configured to be shown) act like a toggle? Right now, pressing it, switches the player off. Pressing it again doesn't switch the player back on though. PS. After having used "the other app" for many many years, I discovered your Material Skin last week. It is a pleasure to use, both on the iPhone and iPad. Thank you !! I have two Radios running with the latest community firmware, and am a regular/prolific user of BBC Sounds. I have not noted any instances of audio stuttering on either Radio. But Ill keep an ear open. Perhaps worth noting that I do use the native playback option, so any issue with the AAC decoding changes ought to show up. mrw's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=38299 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113479 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Community Firmware for Squeezebox Radio/Touch/Controller and LMS 8
I have had a couple of bugs raised on the BBC Sounds Plugin repository relating to audio stuttering : https://github.com/expectingtofly/LMS_BBC_Sounds_Plugin/issues/134 Both reports are using Squeezebox radio's with the community firmware. The BBC Streams are AAC 320kbs@48000, so quite high bitrate. They have provided server logs to me that shows that there are no issues getting audio data out server side (in fact the opposite is true). So it appears the problem is in the audio decoding on the radio. As I have had 2 reports of this problem, I wonder if this has anything to do with the AAC decoding changes in the new version of the firmware? The jivelite extension has been upgraded for picoreplayer 8.x, it now reports 8.0.0 as the version to LMS. To update, navigate to the Tweaks page in the pcp webadmin and click the Update button in the Jivelite Setup section. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] SuperDateTime Screensaver v5.11.0 - Date/Time/Weather/Sports/Stocks
@BoomX2: I recently had an issue with a conflict between SuperDateTime and my AirPlay bridge plugin. We both use Math::BigInt::LTM and yours take precedence (maybe because your plugin is registered after mine, in alphabetical order or because your version is more recent, I don't know). The problem is that LTM should provide functions like _to_hex() that are not in Perl but part of C-compiled XS. AFAIK, you do not provide these compiled libraries, so my call to _to_hex which is redirected to your LTM fails. I'm not sure I have a great solution to offer as adding all the compiled libraries for all platform is a royal pain. If you are 100% sure you need LTM and not just maybe a fucntion or two that could be isolated, then maybe we can discuss with @mherger to include Math::BigInt::LTM in LMS... The "changes" section in the XML need a to close it. FYI regarding the checksum - if you are working on Windows then there is (was?) a Microsoft tool called fciv (File Checksum Integrity Verifier - downloadable from their site) fciv -sha1 filename Also - I sometimes use a Windows Explorer plugin from Z-Zip Right click on a file in Windows Explorer and you get a menu item "CRC SHA" choose SHA 1 - double click on the result and you can ^c copy it. Also - make sure that your checksum is all lowercase.
