Re: [libreoffice-projects] Multilingual planet - which way to go?
I think one per language is the way, with a lang selector so we can maintain the same idea as was requested for askbot. [libreoffice-projects] AskBot: tags per language
Hello, good news, everyone - the next step of AskBot improvements is done: Our AskBot instance now supports tags per language. Thanks a lot to Evgeny for implementing it! We're continuing to improve the system, the next task taken care of will be the handling of duplicates. [libreoffice-projects] Multilingual planet - which way to go?
Hi *, this mail is more or less a call for vote about what approach is preferred. In the past there was discussion/requests to have multilang planet. Problem is that currently used planet aggregator at planet.documentfoundation.org doesn't expose filtering abilities, so there has been reservation with regard to allowing non-English submissions. The main question is now to whether have one huge planet where ~ everyone is aggregated, no matter what language, and whoever only wants english has to use filtersettings himself, or whether to setup multiple independent planets, each focused on one language/set of languages. https://redmine.documentfoundation.org/issues/400 basically is about the first variant (all aggregated with filter capability). But before spending time on setting it up that way: is this what what NL-Projects want/expect? Please state your opinion :-) Would one for English, one for "all others" also be an option, or is this a fundamentally bad idea? "I want… [ ] …a single, multilanguage planet [ ] …separate planets per (set of) languages [ ] … (own suggestion)" ciao Christian -- To unsubscribe e-mail to: projects+unsubscr...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/projects/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
[libreoffice-projects] New features on newdesign site: sortable tables (und user defined forms)
Hi *, a script to sort tables by clicking on the table's heading was added to the newdesign site. To use it, create a table with a separate header definition and assign the class "tablesorter". A mimimalistic example: This is the caption for the table Header 1header 2 c 45 b 1 a 444 Currently there is no visual hint as to what sorting is used and that the table can be sorted - style suggestions welcome :-) See http://tablesorter.com/docs/ for example(s). Another addition is the user forms module that was used by some NL-Project on the old site already - it allows to create feedback forms that send the submissions via email and/or stores them in the database. In case you make use of it: Please always use with a Spam Protection field and/or monitor it for abuse. (currently uses ReCaptcha) ciao Christian -- To unsubscribe e-mail to: projects+unsubscr...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/projects/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
