Follow-up Comment #5, sr #104052 (project administration): Hi, The CVS will stay the same, and the download will continue to work as documented. The webpage will be moved to www.nongnu.org/gnome-kinyarwanda/, although a redirection can be provided for a while. Would this be ok? ___ Reply to this item at: http://savannah.gnu.org/support/?func=detailitemitem_id=104052 ___ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/ ___ Savannah-help-public mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/savannah-hackers

Follow-up Comment #6, sr #104052 (project administration): It's OK. I haven't handed out or advertised the site yet, per-se, except via the GTP (Gnome Translation Project). I'll figure out how to change it there. There are several of us who were directed to obtain sites via savannah... you may have to change us all, I'd suppose, and mayhaps the GTP should change their instructions for newcomers. So, non-gnu is the site name? How complementary! ;^) ___ Reply to this item at: http://savannah.gnu.org/support/?func=detailitemitem_id=104052 ___ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/ ___ Savannah-help-public mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/savannah-hackers

Follow-up Comment #3, sr #104052 (project administration): Who's right? Why does the FAQ provide wrong directions, and a wrong place to do uploads for the project download area? Good question. Well, apparently, you are not an official GNU maintainer, still you own a (GNU-project-related) non-GNU project that is registered as a GNU project. I will therefore move the project from GNU to non-GNU. Do you have any problem with this? ___ Reply to this item at: http://savannah.gnu.org/support/?func=detailitemitem_id=104052 ___ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/ ___ Savannah-help-public mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/savannah-hackers

Follow-up Comment #4, sr #104052 (project administration): Uh, no,. but I checked today, and now I can get into the savannah.gnu.org/incoming/savannah/gnome-kinyarwanda dir via ftp, and suppose that somehow my whining got that fixed, or it was just spectacularly slow in automatically being created. Whatever the reason, if you swap me to be a non-gnu entity, will my web site change? cvs? download? If none of the above, do it to it, if something changes I should be aware of, please let me know. ___ Reply to this item at: http://savannah.gnu.org/support/?func=detailitemitem_id=104052 ___ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/ ___ Savannah-help-public mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/savannah-hackers

Update of sr #104052 (project administration): Assigned to:None = Beuc ___ Follow-up Comment #1: The system will recreate the download area within 15mn. Please note, though, that as a GNU project you usually upload to ftp.gnu.org, using the procedure described at http://www.gnu.org/prep/maintain/html_node/Automated-FTP-Uploads.html ___ Reply to this item at: http://savannah.gnu.org/support/?func=detailitemitem_id=104052 ___ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/ ___ Savannah-help-public mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/savannah-hackers

Follow-up Comment #2, sr #104052 (project administration): I was following the FAQ to the letter. All I want is to have a download area users can download material (translations) from, and my webpage to have links pointing to the area. My pgp key is registered at the website, the download area is still non-existent after 1 day. I can follow the URL you provided, but it doesn't make sense. Who's right? Why does the FAQ provide wrong directions, and a wrong place to do uploads for the project download area? ___ Reply to this item at: http://savannah.gnu.org/support/?func=detailitemitem_id=104052 ___ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/ ___ Savannah-help-public mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/savannah-hackers
