I've tried that and some other things with no success. I'm now
considering re-copying pCP to the SD card and starting again. For a few
minutes, after acting on your instruction, Spotify was working
beautifully so at least I know that it CAN work! I'm 83 in September:(-

Hi, thank you, I did this and it worked fine for a few minutes. Now,
suddenly the LMS has stopped and I can't find out why. Back to square
one!!

Thank you all for your help and patience. Following your advice I now
have LMS 7.9.1 installed with Spotty enabled and have a Spotty icon in
My Apps on an SB Radio.
However, I am now baffled by Spotty Authorisation (see image) and cannot
find the list of Spotify available devices. I have tried unsuccessfully
to do this on my PC and on an iPhone.
Am I missing something obvious?

This means nothing to me. Please elaborate in simple terms. I don't know
what "this one" means...

Thank you d6jg. I had already tried this without success, and now have
tried it again without success. My procedure has been as follows:

1. After updating LMS 7.9 to 7.9.1, I identified the plugin, "Spotty
Spotify implementation for Squeezebox. Not quite connect ready", in the
3rd party plugins list.
2. I checked 'enable' and it then appeared at the top of the plugin
listings -above- the 'enable' header.
3. I then restarted LMS and it has disappeared completely.

Do you think LMS could be corrupted?

I checked the plugin, waited a while, and then clicked the restart popup
which appeared.

How confident are we that '-Spotty Spotify implementation for
Squeezebox. Not quite connect ready-' really is a working plugin? And
why hasn't it got a sensible name??
