Title:
Lucid boot screen is misleading because it looks like a progress bar
Status in ubuntu-themes package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Binary package hint: ubuntu-artwork
Lucid boot screen is misleading because it looks like a progress bar. I mean
it gives the impression that the startup time is very fast because it looks
like a progress bar until the red/orange icons start changing back to white.
Than I personally have felt a little bit framed.
Not to mention that the change from red/orange to white looks a little bit
weird imho.
I think it would be better to have one or two red/orange icon/s which
move/s a long from left to right so it doesn't give the impression
that it represents the boot process but everyone knows that something
is going on.
