[Bug 1155575] Re: Rhythmbox not reading 'year' tag

2013-09-16 Thread Jenne_87
I have re-read my complete library today.
Here, I have the same problem.

All "Year" tags are displayed as "Unknown".

ubuntu 13.04 x64
rythembox 2.98

The program is unusable without "year" tags.

[Bug 1221876] Re: 1814:5390 [Asus X55A] Driver rt2800pci doesn't work, WiFi logout and login continuously

2013-09-16 Thread Anders Lanzen
The same problem occurs for me with the latest v.3.11-07 kernel. Signal
strength is very low and with some encodings (WPA2?) does not work at
all (connection dropped after some seconds). I have spent days trying to
fix this bug without luck. Proprietary drivers for rt3290 from Realtek
do not compile in the 3.11 kernel and caused kernel panic frequently in
3.9, why I upgraded to saucy. I see no other solution than to change
computers or replace the wifi card, for now.

[Bug 1215513] Re: System locks up, requires hard reset

2013-09-16 Thread Dan Muresan
Since several bugs with much more details were merged into this one, the
most likely early warning of zram problems are messages like

Buffer I/O error on device zram0, logical block 257912 [repeated X
times]

You get those right after modprobing / formatting zram. If you don't see
those with the new kernel, either things are in good shape or the bugfix
didn't work.

[Bug 1225985] Re: gnome-shell uses over 300% CPU most the time

2013-09-16 Thread Paweł Szafer
Hello,
I'm sure this bug is related to Chromium-browser.

When I logged in and using programs like nautilus, gnome takes about 60%
CPU, but when chromium is running, then gnome-shell takes >100% CPU and
even after closing chromium it doesn't come back to usage in the level
of 60% CPU

I don't know if this bug is cause by HW acceleration in chromium, gtk
theme problem or something else.

[Bug 1041175] Re: Overlay scrollbars obscure content in a maximised window

2013-09-16 Thread Edwin Pujols
If it does not go against current design focus, I think that the orange
bar could be made thinner (but still easy to see). Also I'm wondering
the thumb could be made to appear via mouse pressure when the window is
maximized, that is, in the same way you make the Launcher visible when
set to auto-hide.

This may be a simplistic solution, I don't know if makes sense. The
orange bar needs to be thinner (or to have a space of its own) because,
at least currently with Gtk+ and stuff, it obscures content (e.g. it is
drawn over the contents of gedit or evince); this is particularly bad
when the content contains small artifacts next to the window borders
(e.g. the related left-to-right languages bug).

The thumb being made visible via pressure I am not sure, but it would
help with maximize window issue, not sure if it would introduce other
more annoying problems.

[Bug 210686]

2013-09-16 Thread rpr nospam
As a workaround for this issue I inserted a paragraph before the table
and formatted the text in the paragraph as hidden. Then tried to use
Select All. It selects all text only if the hidden text is visible,
which is enabled in Tools > Options > LibreOffice Writer > Formatting
Aids > Display of Hidden text. If that option is not enabled the Select
All selects only the table, which is strange (another bug?).

[Bug 1226396] [NEW] FFe: Sync xorg-docs 1:1.7-1 (main) from Debian unstable (main)

2013-09-16 Thread Jeremy Bicha
Public bug reported:

Please sync xorg-docs 1:1.7-1 (main) from Debian unstable (main)

Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:
  * Merge from Debian unstable, remaining changes:
- Remove fop dependency to Fix FTBFS (LP: 682621):
  + debian/rules: removed --with-fop option
  + debian/control: removed Build-Depends on fop
+ debian/xorg-docs.install: removed entries for *.pdf

This Ubuntu diff was added during the Natty cycle as fop wasn't in main.
fop has been in main since oneiric.

Explanation of FeatureFreeze exception:
This is the documentation that corresponds with the current version of xorg
(7.7) in Ubuntu.

Changelog entries since current saucy version 1:1.6-1ubuntu2:

xorg-docs (1:1.7-1) unstable; urgency=low

  * New upstream release (X11R7.7).
  * Bump debhelper compat to 7.
  * Remove David from Uploaders.
  * Stop setting CFLAGS in debian/rules (we don't build anything), and don't
use dh_testroot in clean.
  * Bump xorg-sgml-doctools, xutils-dev and xmlto build-deps per configure.ac.
  * Rebase all patches.
  * Disable silent build rules.
  * Update xsfbs to avoid re-running the build process in the binary target.
  * Adjust xorg-docs.install due to moved specs (?)

[Bug 1069964] Re: Unable to mount Blank CD-R disc. Location is already mounted.

2013-09-16 Thread wayward4now
It's now September 17, 2013
I still have this exact same problem. I can burn just fine, but I get this
annoying popup that mentions that the "Location is already mounted". Running
13.04 Xubuntu. Thanks. Ric

[Bug 1224321] Re: nginx_1.1.19-1ubuntu0.2 missing conf file on 12.04

2013-09-16 Thread Thomas Ward
Kelley,

It should not. However, I think the bug you ran into is related to a
known bug in Debian that has a fix in the precise-proposed repositories.

https://launchpad.net/bugs/1206878 is the bug where we noticed something
similar to this, but nobody's gone through and tested the version in the
-proposed repository to see if it resolves this. This happens on
upgrade too apparently, as well as a purge.

NOTE: I am not marking this bug as a duplicate of Bug #1206878, however
it might actually be the same bug.
