Hello Thomas, the binary I am originally trying to print the stack of is proprietary, so I cannot make it available to you. But I did try to print the pstack of an apache tomcat 8.0.26, the pstack is attached. The result looks different, but still not very helpful. [Bug 1609419] [NEW] pstack is broken on amd64
Public bug reported: Using pstack 1.3.1-1 on Ubuntu 14.04.4 LTS leads to no usable results. It seems like this was already reported in a comment 2013 in the popular bug report (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pstack/+bug/532000).
