[Bug 992232] Re: no libreoffice-report-builder in precise

2012-10-11 Thread Yleeyas
Well, I can atleast generate the reports I had, with the 'fix' but when
I try to create a new report (wizard or design view), it just goes away
and I have to recover/unlock the db. This is a problem, which I don't
have time to bitch about or follow up on.

[Bug 219812] Re: New windows (links) should be open in the background

2008-10-03 Thread Yleeyas

Same thing was happening to me with Thuderbird links opening FF3.0.1 tabs, and
FF stealing focus.
A solution which worked for me is to go into FF about:config and set
preference: 'browser.tabs.loadDivertedInBackground' to 'true'.

Does this help?

[Bug 197288] Re: [hardy] new windows are put in background when a window has always on top set

2008-10-03 Thread Yleeyas
I confirm this problem.
My scenario;

1) open xmms (or audacity as per another user) and set 'always on top'
2) start FF 3.0.1 - opens behind xmms, focus is on xmms
3) select FF and get focus on FF
4) start new app from launcher (firestarter)
5) firestarter opens behind FF, focus remains on FF
6) in FF select toolsadd-ons
7) add-ons window opens behind FF, focus remains on FF
(this last one may be an FF config issue?)

[Bug 58382] Re: Restore from Suspend creates problems

2006-09-07 Thread Yleeyas
Hello DaveR,

Just to let you know you are NOT alone. I'm having most of the same
symptoms, under the same circumstances (ie; systemquitsuspend
scenario). Worst case for me is that (rarely) the system won't return
from suspend at all, and a hard powerdown reboot is the only way to get
my system back.

Can't help you with proper reporting, though I suspect when a guru
shows up, they'll ask for more specifics.

Good luck to both of us, and I'm betting, many others, based on some of
the threads in the Ubuntu Forums.

[Bug 3642] Re: Suspend (or hibernate) does nothing

2006-08-04 Thread Yleeyas
Confirmed (sort of). Looks like gdm 2.14.10 fixed my suspend problem (see
https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/gdm/+bug/50703)
I don't normally hibernate, but when I tried it (from the login options menu) I
get the authentication failed message as mentioned above.

Sounds like it might be. There's no resolution to that one yet, so I'll
subscribe and monitor.
Thanx Vaailis
