[Bug 367088] [NEW] no more audio output after openning rmvb file
Public bug reported: Sometimes, after I open rmvb video file, the system sound is disabled and there is no more audio output with audacious, mplayer and vlc, but this problem won't affect realplayer, it still has audio output, does anyone have the same problem? and how to solve it? thanks. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- no more audio output after openning rmvb file https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/367088 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 364022] [NEW] can not preview thumbnail of media file in nautilus
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus Just few days ago, I found some .rmvb media files could not be previewed in nautilus, but some could, then I upgrade the Ubuntu 8.10 to 9.04, the problem persists. I ever tried to remove ~/.thumbnails and then re-open nautilus to re- create the thumbnails, but after that, all the .rmvb media files can not be previewed. Is there any solution for it? thanks. ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- can not preview thumbnail of media file in nautilus https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/364022 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 363994] [NEW] hddtemp does not detect temperature correctly
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: hddtemp I just notice the temperature of hard disk displayed in conky is stuck to 36C, but I run hdsentinel to confirm the actual temperature is 40C. I guess the package hddtemp 0.3-beta15-45 in Ubuntu 9.04 does not correctly detect the temperature of hard disk. ** Affects: hddtemp (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- hddtemp does not detect temperature correctly https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/363994 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 363635] Re: Screensaver does not work in 9.04
1. I set the screensaver to random, I ever tried the others, nothing different. 2. It does work when using "preview" option, but one thing weird is that I have to click the arrow left first and then the arrow right to activate the preview, otherwise nothing will be displayed in the preview windows. I just set the time limit to one minute and try it again, the problem persists. -- Screensaver does not work in 9.04 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/363635 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 293441] Re: gedit not responding in 8.10
1. Thanks for the command to add gpg key, I learn one more thing. 2. It is not the permission problem. I tried to edit my .conkyrc file, so I used mouse to click on the file as I did in Ubuntu 7.04 to 8.04, the gedit window appeared, but few seconds later, the window turned into black and did not respond any more. Then I tried to use command 'gedit ~/.conkyrc' in terminal, the same situation happened as I used mouse, finally, the file was opened with command 'sudo gedit ~/.conkyrc'. -- gedit not responding in 8.10 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/293441 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Thanks for reply. This bug not only affects realplayer but the whole system, I just selected the wrong package when I reported the bug.
