[Bug 1125136] Re: Read errors and kernel panic - Astrotek / genesys USB3 internal card reader
I have a similar issue with a genesys USB hub, my dmesg produces this when it's acting up and will seem to crash my machine every time. As my keyboard is USB it may be that it just hangs the USB systems and that stops all input, the only solutuion is a button reset to get the machine working again. The resolution appears to be disabling all power to the hub, turning off power to the PC, plug the device in and then boot. The USB ports always maintain power so driver or something in the hub does not appear to reset the hub properly. [Bug 1134202] Re: Removing overlay-scrollbar causes lots of noise
Also affects me on "3.5.0-27-generic #46-Ubuntu SMP", very annoying the overlay bars play badly with a lot of apps as they overlay the side and prevent increasing the horizontal size of a window when a visual element that has a slider abuts the right hand side of the window hence to make it work properly the designer needs to leave space so defeats the idea. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1134202 Title: Removing overlay-scrollbar causes lots of noise To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/overlay-scrollbar/+bug/1134202/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
