I believe it would be well and truly out of date by now. Suggest you mark the ticket as finished. [Bug 22812] Re: Bluetooth mouse device changes.
Hi login-stians, This bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? Can you try with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO CD images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/ . If it remains an issue, could you run the following command from a Terminal (Applications->Accessories->Terminal). It will automatically gather and attach updated debug information to this report. apport-collect -p linux-image-`uname -r` 22812 Also, if you could test the latest upstream kernel available that would be great. It will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue. Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Once you've tested the upstream kernel, please remove the 'needs-upstream- testing' tag. This can be done by clicking on the yellow pencil icon next to the tag located at the bottom of the bug description and deleting the 'needs-upstream-testing' text. Please let us know your results. Thanks in advance. [This is an automated message. Apologies if it has reached you inappropriately; please just reply to this message indicating so.] ** Tags added: needs-kernel-logs ** Tags added: needs-upstream-testing ** Tags added: kj-triage ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- Bluetooth mouse device changes. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/22812 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 22812] Re: Bluetooth mouse device changes.
This isn't a big deal since input hotplug handles it nicely in intrepid. I'll add a linux task though since evdev is what keeps claiming these are "new" devices. ** Changed in: bluez (Ubuntu) Status: New => Won't Fix ** Also affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Bluetooth mouse device changes. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/22812 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I think I have this problem on Hardy alpha (current) and it might be the reason for #197549 and #208366. [Bug 22812] Re: Bluetooth mouse device changes.
I tried Ubuntu 7.04 with a Bluetooth mouse (Logitech MX900) - the only way to make it work was to hotplug it. The same thing still happens in 7.10 Ubuntu is the only distro this happens in Paul -- Bluetooth mouse device changes. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/22812 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Are you still seeing this problem? Can you see if you see the problem on gutsy beta? If not, I'd like to close this bug. ** Changed in: bluez-utils (Ubuntu) Assignee: Charles Majola (chmj) => Tollef Fog Heen (tfheen) -- Bluetooth mouse device changes. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/22812 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
