[Bug 384402] Re: Sierra Wireless MC8775 fails to wakeup from suspend to ram: usb_dev_resume returns -19
Tested against: http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel- ppa/mainline/v2.6.28.10/ Bug still remains with this version. Is this the upstream version you wanted me to test against? Or rather an even more advanced 2.6.30 kernel version? Version 2.6.28.10 was the most current kernel release listed in the ubuntu - upstream kernel mapping table for jaunty. Most current 2.6.31-999_2.6.31-999.1247216410 of 20090710 did not complete suspend to ram at all (freezes during suspend, suspend LED keeps blinking) -- Sierra Wireless MC8775 fails to wakeup from suspend to ram: usb_dev_resume returns -19 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/384402 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 384402] Re: Sierra Wireless MC8775 fails to wakeup from suspend to ram: usb_dev_resume returns -19
If you could also test the latest upstream kernel available that would be great. It will allow additional upstream developers to examine this issue. Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Once you've tested the upstream kernel, please remove the 'needs-upstream- testing' tag. This can be done by clicking on the yellow pencil icon next to the tag located at the bottom of the bug description and deleting the 'needs-upstream-testing' text. Please let us know your results. If the issue remains with the upstream kernel, please be sure to also run the following command from a Terminal (Applications-Accessories-Terminal). It will automatically gather and attach updated debug information to this report. apport-collect -p linux-image-2.6.28-11-generic bug # Thanks in advance. ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: New = Confirmed ** Tags added: needs-kernel-logs needs-upstream-testing -- Sierra Wireless MC8775 fails to wakeup from suspend to ram: usb_dev_resume returns -19 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/384402 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[This is an automated message. Apologies if it has reached you inappropriately.] This bug was reported against the linux-meta package when it likely should have been reported against the linux package instead. We are automatically transitioning this to the linux kernel package so that the appropriate teams are notified and made aware of this issue. If this bug really is a bug in the linux-meta package you can move it back to linux-meta and set the Status to Confirmed, or contact us on the #ubuntu-kernel channel on the FreeNode IRC server. Thanks. ** Package changed: linux-meta (Ubuntu) = linux (Ubuntu) -- Sierra Wireless MC8775 fails to wakeup from suspend to ram: usb_dev_resume returns -19 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/384402 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
