I confirm this bug. When I cut a file and paste it in another directory, the thunar window suddenly disappear (but the file is moved anyway). I've experienced a similar problem: the files were correctly moved, but Thunar crashed. It also crashed after renaming a file. thunar is crashing with more than half of the files I move so it is unusable. I'll have to switch to a different file manager. I decided to do a complete reinstall, downloading a new copy of the Xubuntu image, checking its signature, making a new bootable flash drive, verifying its integrity.
