[Bug 365915] Re: package slapd 2.4.15-1ubuntu3 failed to install/upgrade:
I don't use openldap anymore. But if it helps, this is how the slapd was setup originally. This was before intrepid. I just did a fresh installation and added some lines to slapd.conf. This is from our installation notes: sudo apt-get install slapd ldap-utils echo -e "\ndatabase hdb\nsuffix \"dc=api,dc=no\"\nrootdn \"cn=Manager,dc=api,dc=no\"\nrootpw password" | sudo tee -a /etc/ldap/slapd.conf sudo /etc/init.d/slapd restart I did not remove the preconfigured "nodomain" entry, so I guess i had 2 databases, yes. With the upgrade to intrepid, the slapd was converted to a new configuration format. But I can't help with further details on the new format. -- package slapd 2.4.15-1ubuntu3 failed to install/upgrade: https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/365915 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to openldap in ubuntu. -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

[Bug 365915] Re: package slapd 2.4.15-1ubuntu3 failed to install/upgrade:
added new tar file. I could fix my openldap installation by purging and re-installing the slapd and ldap-utils packages. Doing this, my database got deleted, but after rebuilding it everything works now as before. ** Attachment added: "contents of /var/log/dist-upgrade" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/26020525/dist-upgrade.tar.gz -- package slapd 2.4.15-1ubuntu3 failed to install/upgrade: https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/365915 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to openldap in ubuntu. -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
