Re: [libreoffice-users] create mailmerge with spreadsheet librecalc without using libre base ! pls help how to do it TQ
Wow! Just to be absolutely crystal clear, when you say > If you need some fixed filters (for instance all rows where name, zip, > city and address are not empty), then you may add a query to the > database document and use the query instead of the table. You are saying that it is possible to mailmerge using a query to supply the data? I know that's what it looks like you said, but there's just been a long thread here that concluded this was not possible, so I'm just checking. If so, is it new (3.4.5) functionality? May i know is there any solutions? TQ i have try using file -> wizard -> address data source -> other external data source -> no SDBC driver found Once you have registered in Base as spredsheet, you can do the modifications directly in the spreadsheet without using base. Only the registration in base is needed. Maybe this extension (FastMailMerge)is what you need: http://extensions.services.openoffice.org/en/project/FMM Miguel Ángel * Inglés - detectado * Inglés * Español * Inglés * Español -- For unsubscribe instructions e-mail to: users+h...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted

Hi Sonic, I would think you could register the new database in the spreadsheet by going to tool>options>LibreOffice Base>Databases. I've never tried that though. I know it works for odb files.
