Setting up Thunderbird autoconfig is reasonably easy, but it's nice to have the more complicated Outlook in such a nice package. Love the extensive backend support too. [SOGo] sogo-tool expire
Ever since the 1.3.12a/b/c updates I had been having issues with my sieve not able to connect to my mail server to update the sieve scripts. I fixed that today by specifying the IP of the server in the defaults file. However now when sogo-tool runs via cron to expire vacation messages I get the following error: 2012-03-16 16:00:04.054 sogo-tool[7623] failure. Attempting with a renewed password (no authname supported) 2012-03-16 16:00:04.056 sogo-tool[7623] Could not login 'gwill' on Sieve server: <0x0x1f0377b8[NGSieveClient]: socket= connectedTo=<0x0x1f0401e8[NGInternetSocketAddress]: host=10.8.2.3 port=2000>>>: (null) 2012-03-16 16:00:04.119 sogo-tool[7623] An error occured while removing auto-reply of user gwill Before today I only received this error when it tried to update: 2012-03-16 05:00:02.306 sogo-tool[9022] Sieve connection failed on mail.mdah.state.ms.us:2000 2012-03-16 05:00:02.372 sogo-tool[9022] An error occured while removing auto-reply of user gwill So I thought fixing sieve would fix that but it looks like it made it worse. My mail filters are able to be edited in the web interface again though. Any ideas? -- Donny B.

Second, It was not working until I explicitly specified type=ldap for SOGoUserSources. It's not clear in the docs that it should be specified, docs doesn't mention "type" in "defaults write sogod SOGoUserSources ..." command, but mentions it in config samples. And third, I have to TRUNCATE all SOGo tables in MySQL to get rid of SOGo EXCEPTION. Well, each time I install SOGo I'm getting certain that SOGo itself is a great software, BUT Gnustep configuration is a nightmare b/c it's hard to debug. If you find one, please post it here. One thing that might work is a thunderbird addon called "ThunderBirthDay". It generates a read-only calendar automatically from brithday information in your adressbook. Maybe you can publish this calendar to SOGo (never tried it myself), but at least it gives you your birthdays in TB until the bug in SOGo is fixed. Re: [SOGo] Re: tb+lightning. user interface: can't switch from day-view to week, multiweek, month.
Hi Andre, clicking on one of the tabs does not affect the error console, but there's a reported error that appears right after starting thunderbird. hope this is it. Error: uncaught exception: [Exception... "Component returned failure code: > 0x80004003 (NS_ERROR_INVALID_POINTER) [calIDateTime.getInTimezone]" > nsresult: "0x80004003 (NS_ERROR_INVALID_POINTER)" location: "JS frame :: > chrome://calendar/content/calUtils.js :: now :: line 421" data: no] > trying to change the calendar-view over the menue fails. the according option 'view->calendar' is grayed out. thanks, Michael 2012/3/15 André Schild > Am 15.03.2012 17:56, schrieb Michael Leitner: > > Hello, >> >> Same bug is reproducible on Windows. >> > > Strange thing, > > we don't see any such issues here and I assume others would have > mentioned it if this is a general problem. > Does the error console in TB show some errors when you click on these tabs > ? > > Can you change the view via the menu ? > > > André > > -- > users@sogo.nu > https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists > -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
