for the list.

it's extreme northern central Arkansas...the Mt. home areaBaxter
and Marion counties..where the White and Northfork Rivers leave outta the
bottom of Bull Shoals and Norfork Lakes respectively.
My wife and i looked all over the country..and there are quite a few
different, incredable, places to set up shopMANY of which have nice
people, good weather, almost no snow, decent or better schools, beautiful
country-side, good health care facilities and al the rest..with one
exceptionEVERYWHERE we looked that had virtually everything goin' for
it, also had SKY ROCKET property taxes..not here. ...not
to mention, from here you can drive to where there are prolly 10 different
shows within a one days drive.and never have to use a hotel until your
where your goin'. And we do as many shows/events as we can possibly afford to
do every year.30 last year, (which was highly unusuall) 17 this
year...so that REALLY matters. mark

[VFB] Re: Weather forcast

2009-04-13 Thread Anthony Spezio
Jim,
After a bad year, I am finally back on my feet again and really planned on
making up for not fishing last year. I got out with Allan Fish and a few
friends from Indiana and a friend from Texas during Sowbug week but we have had
rain, wind and some freezing temps since they left. So much for my catching up
for time on the water. The good side was that I did catch my first Smalllmouth
of the season

If it is not one thing it is another to hinder our fishing out here.

MON APR 13 2009 ... MUCH COLDER TEMPERATURES ALONG WITH GUSTY WINDS AND SNOW
SHOWERS TO RETURN TONIGHT AND TUESDAY...
A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL MOVE INTO THE AREA LATE TONIGHT AND TUESDAY. AHEAD OF
THIS SYSTEM... STRONG AND GUSTY WINDS WILL DEVELOP THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING
AND CONTINUE THROUGH TUESDAY EVENING. GUSTS IN THE LOWER VALLEYS WILL LIKELY
REACH 40 TO 45 MPH... WITH HIGHER GUSTS IN WIND PRONE AREAS AND SOUTH OF
HIGHWAY 50. SIERRA RIDGE GUSTS UP TO 80 MPH ARE EXPECTED TONIGHT THROUGH
TUESDAY. THE STRONGEST WINDS SHOULD OCCUR FOR A FEW HOURS PRIOR TO THE FRONTAL
PASSAGE. BLOWING DUST AND SAND WILL LIKELY REDUCE VISIBILITIES AT TIMES TO LESS
THAN ONE MILE OVER THE DESERTS OF WESTERN NEVADA.

THE CHANCE FOR RAIN AND SNOW WILL INCREASE ALONG AND BEHIND THE FRONT AS IT
MOVES FROM NORTH TO SOUTH DURING THE DAY TUESDAY. SNOW LEVELS BEHIND THE FRONT
ARE EXPECTED TO FALL TO ALL VALLEY FLOORS... WITH THE POTENTIAL FOR SPOTTY
ACCUMULATIONS OF UP TO AN INCH SNOW IN WESTERN NEVADA AND PORTIONS OF THE
SIERRA. CURRENT TIMING WOULD BRING A BAND OF SNOW THROUGH THE AREA DURING THE
DAY TUESDAY... MEANING THE SNOW WILL LIKELY HAVE A DIFFICULT TIME ACCUMULATING
ON AREA ROADWAYS BELOW 5500 FEET. HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL DROP AS MUCH AS 25 TO
30 DEGREES BEHIND THE FRONT AND LEAD TO A HARD FREEZE TUESDAY NIGHT.

And to top it off, last Monday, just as we began getting our stuff out of the
truck to do a bit of fishing, my little puppy jumped up on me and knocked me
down (he is a bit over 80 lbs now) and I reinjured my left sholder (the one the
VA was going to operate on but decided that I had some other health issues that
needed taken care of first). I am a one armed gimp again and I was in the
middle of tying some streamers for a steelhead swap. I have an appt this PM at
the VA for a shot of juice that will(hopefully) give me some mobility.

May your GOD be your fishing partner.
