I'm for keeping in NYC (for obvious reasons) but hope to not have it conflict with SXSW if at all possible. Vloggercon wont be the weekend of SXSW. we've spent little time planning as of yet. as we've said in the past, NYC is the place unless someone else wants to do the planning. NYC is good because its cheap to get flights from anywhere in the world. and we do have lots of floor space here. after VlogEurope..I want to make sure our european vloggers can make it. Jay Yahoo! Jay,That's great. You are correct, NYC is actually the most convenient for travel, especially those come from abroad. Flights are cheap here and if anyone can score a jet blue flight, it is especially cheap. I'm sure some people on here can even host vloggers coming to stay at their homes. I can't speak for all of us, but I have room for some people here. I'm sure all the other NYC usual suspects are willing to host guests too. If SXSW is March 10 - 19, how about March 4 and 5? I will start the process of planning next month. the date will depend on the space. I would rather not get a bunch of sponsors...but would rather make it like last year where we did it on the cheap. its possible. this lets us be as casual and in control as possible. its what we want it to be. and as we discussed after last vloggercon, many of us want this one to focus on Content. more showing, more watching, more discussing how and what we make. others im sure will start holding techcons where you can come see tables of the latest gear. i want to hear about connecting, building ad-hoc networks, how to spread the word more.turning TV watchers into videoblog creators. Tools of course are in the topics...but its the not the sum total. Jay -- Adventures in Videoblogging URL: http://www.momentshowing.net http://feeds.feedburner.com/Momentshowing Yahoo!
