I can't speak for Seddon, but as far as I am aware he is fully intending to stand. I have submitted my nomination too - so we have 5 publically announced candidates. On Sun, Apr 5, 2009 at 1:14 AM, Thomas Dalton thomas.dal...@gmail.comwrote: 2009/4/5 andrewrtur...@googlemail.com: In terms of the candidates you've applied so far - the simple answer is I know as little as you! Only the tellers know who's applied until the names are announced next week. I only know four definites who have said publicly they are standing (me, mpeel, Tango42 and Seddon). Has Seddon said he's standing? Last I heard he was just thinking about it. If we only have 3 candidates, as is worryingly possible at the moment, then there won't be an election. The AGM will just have to pass a resolution appointing the 3 candidates and that's it. [Wikimediauk-l] My Recent Inactivity
Hi All, I would like to apologise for my sudden spate of inactivity in WMUK / Wikimania 2010 matters - just 5 days ago I suffered the loss of my father who had been suffering from cancer for the past year. It is high on my list of tasks to get to the AGM and to get reinvolved as soon as possible - but I didn't want you to think I had just popped out of existance! I am as interested in WMUK and its' acitivities as I will ever be - I just, right now, don't have the time to be as involved proactively as I would like to be now and in the future.
