Re: [X2Go-User] Usage question - multiple destination sessions?
Oh it needs a bunch of stuff python and all you can install with xcode, I screwed around with it back when I was running MacOS and it can be made to work sort of but I've loaded Debian on my Mac now sorry can't be more specific as it's been awhile. -_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_- Eskimo North Linux Friendly Internet Access, Shell Accounts, and Hosting. Thanks for the info. So to go back to my original question for this list - what is the timeframe I should be looking at in order to manage multiple sessions to different hosts from my mac client? Sounds like this has to wait until the mac gui interface is fixedŠ nbc On 10/30/14, 11:17 AM, "Mike Gabriel" wrote: >Hi Neil, > >On Do 30 Okt 2014 16:00:55 CET, Cohen, Neil wrote: > >> I have been unable to locate a package, or even instructions on how to >> install the PyHoca-GUI program on the Mac. >> Can someone give me a pointer to that? Re: [X2Go-User] Usage question - multiple destination sessions?
I've tried it on the Mac, it's slow, and when you get more than one connection going simulaneously it starts getting weird, you go to one Window and try to pull down a menu (using Mate desktop) and you have to hover for half an hour before it responds. It's basically unusable for multiple sessions. This at least is my experience with a Mac Pro I, 2 dual Xeon, 4 GB of RAM, MacOS 10.7.5. -_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_- Eskimo North Linux Friendly Internet Access, Shell Accounts, and Hosting.
