Saw my FOY TV & this a.m. & also saw FOY hundreds of snows & 4 blues coming
from the east. When they got to the lake they headed south, bucking the strong
south headwinds. Beautiful sight against the blue sky.

Union Springs ... Now I can stop being envious!!! 4 REDPOLLS were watching me
as I was about 8' away from the niger feeder, shoveling snow at 4 p.m.. I've
had many gold & house finches but couldn't make any of them into repolls, at
least down here at the feeders by the house. Can't say that anym
Oh please send some my way! I have never had a redpoll here and even
goldfinches are few and far between.
I do however have a good crowd of juncos, chickadees, 2 cardinal
pairs, 2 mourning dove pairs, blue jays, 2-3 house sparrows, and a
pair of downies.

Don't know when it first arrived since Kathy S. & I were in TX a wk. but today
I saw a WHITE CROWNED SPARROW under the feeder out on the clotheline arm.
Ah, the scissor-tailed flycatchers in TX were beautiful & quite numerous!! And
what brilliant yellow feet the snowy egret has!!! While we enjoy
