There's no pulseaudio installed or running by default. So this is not the cause
of the problem. At least not with me.

Installation went fine without any problems here.
But I can't give in my pin :( It's not related to this bug:

patch but it doesn't solve my problem.

thanks,
I'll try it right now and will report about it. Also if I think it is more
related to the xserver<->xglamo stuff.

Hi,
I think my FR with 2008.8 is nearly ready for daily usage. The only thing which
is stopping this, is the "white screen of death" problem. So when I suspend for
more than 5min or so I can't resume. It always just gives me a blank white
screen and I have to reboot. Is there any progress about

Nice but after a reboot the fullqwerty has again disappeared and I have just
the old keyboard back. I even lost the Full-QWERTY.kbd file?? It isn't there

Thanks Norbert very much for finally finding the real problem with the pin
dialog not appearing! Removing this makes the pin-dialog appear for me with

pin-dialog just appeared 1 out of 40 boots! This is a big improvment.

Hi,
I was bored and just wrote a little zenity-gui for flashing images to the neo:
http://paste.ubuntuusers.de/391300/ .
For the zenity-gui you need of course zenity and a bash-shell. To make the
progress-bar work you need to patch dfu-util:
$ diff dfu-util/src/sam7dfu-old.c dfu-util/src/sam7df

Hi fellows,
I tested a few minutes ago with my Neo Freerunner the new qtopia image
(4.32-080808) which was released yesterday. And I can report that the suspend
problem is nearly completly fixed:
* I can suspend
* I can wakeup (pressing the startbutton)
* After suspend I can make and recieve call

I flashed the new kernel and image but if I boot now I'm not getting asked for
a pin. There's no gsm in 2008.8 for me but with 2007 Image or the FSO 2 GSM is
working just fine. Wheren can I look for the problem?
There are no logs in /var/log and also dmesg| grep -i gsm shows absolutly
nothing.
Hi,
in every menu I have at the bottom of the screen three + and left a * sign. I
can't find out any funcionality with these things? What is their puprose?

thx for this answer :)
But doesn't totally answer my question: what happens after this timeout?
shutdown or suspend/hibernate?

Hi,
when I go into the NOR-Flash to flash my rootfs or the kernel and I do nothing

I started today an overview page in the wiki:
