Bug 424194 - Temp disable Modisco, jwt, and papyrus
I seemed to be able to get a green "local build" only if disabled all
three of these projects completely.
I know that people are "working on it", but ... everyone's been changing
so much, thought it'd be good to try and get one green build o
Dave McKnight was able to
fix our compile issue earlier today and I was able to contribute the
resulting build about an hour ago.

Might be good to disable it, for now, if you think it will take much
longer and/or keep everyone informed on cross-project list.

I don't have *the* solution at hand, but Wayne's and others idea of
graduating these projects seems to be the best way to move forward - given
that a graduation is possible. Both projects are included in another
project (m2e) and this is one sign of maturity.

What is your suggestion?
BTW, I didn't even realize m2e was part of RCP/RAP package :-)

It has come to my attention that some bundles in eclipse appear to be using
interim headers and attributes that never made it into a final OSGi
specification. For Luna the Equinox framework no longer supports these
interim headers [1]. This seemed like a relatively safe change since we

I _think_ that's for new dependencies, not a new version of an existing

The RSE component of TM was relying on some internal platform classes that were
recently removed. This is causing build problems, so TM may be late for M4.

FWIW,
we have a dependency to m2e runtime.
With m2e’s move to 1.5 and switching from Sonatype Aether to Eclipse Aether
Incubation we have a similar issue.
We can fall back to the 1.4 maven runtime, though.
A release of Eclipse Aether (this component contains 98% of what we need) would
