I thought that performance events would be completely disabled, but
that's not the case. I'll try to figure out why it doesn't crash.

As a workaround, I'm passing kernel parameter
'initcall_blacklist=init_hw_perf_events' to disable the Zhaoxin PMU driver. The
system boots without panic. Differences in the boot log:

My issue looks the same as that of Kazimierz, but I have a VIA Nano L2200 with
VX800 chipset.
I upgraded from buster to bullseye. The 5.10.13-1 kernel panics during boot,
but the system boots when I use the old buster 4.19.171-2 kernel.
