This this bug was only visible in one case, right after an upgrade of KDE
from 3.5.5 to 3.5.8 which is known to cause trouble and crashes for all
KDE apps, and I can't reproduce it, and tagging accordingly.
Considering the stron
Hi Ross,
Coming back to you... I uploaded the latest release of tellico to unstable
a couple of weeks ago.
Can you check whether it fixed you issue ? If it is still present, I would
guess yaz is actually the origin of the problem. The package was not
extremely well maintained lately and is really

Hi, We're trying to get rid of libwww in the archive, and it appears that
mapserver build-depends on it. After further checks, mapserver seams to
have already switched to libcurl and the build-dep on libwww is not needed
anymore. (no lib dependency in the bi

Hi Mark,
Thanks for the report. However, I can't reproduce it on my machine.
Did you try to log out and back in ? It seems the error messages you got
happen when people don't do it after a KDE upgarde. Considering you went
from 3.5.5 to 3.5.8, I guess it could be related.
If you could test this
Hi Richard,
Amaya build-depends on libwww and seriously relies on it. Removing it will
put me in a quite uncomfortable situation. I would like to avoid following
upstream who use a statically built and linked version of the library if I
can.
I could try to push them towards libcurl, though I'm af

Hi,
Following my previous email to #426379, we agreed with Sebastien Estienne
that I will take over the package, with him as co-maintainer.
I got a package of the latest upstream release ready yesterday evening,
and should upload it later today afte
Hi Sebastien,
You haven't made an upload of the the mod-dnssd package for over 18
months, despite a new upstream release, a NMU ,and a couple of fairly
annoying bugs.
Considering I have some personal interest in the package itself and need
the 0.5 version, would you like some help for it ? Either
Hi again,
With my account finally created, I uploaded a new release of Tellico to
the archive. According to Robby, there should be a fix for this crash in
it.
Could you please test if it is the case, so I can close this bug ?
Thanks for your help,
Regis

Yes, yes, I know, the package has been ready since the day of the
release. I was hopping to do the upload myself instead of asking a
sponsor, but I've
Hi Ross, Robby,

Hi,
This FTBFS bug has been open for 4 months without a reply, and one of the
b-deps was removed 3 months ago.
What's your plan ? Is this package still actively maintained ?
Regis
Hi,
This package has been in an FTBS situation for almost one year now,
without a fix or a reply to the bugs. Please tell us what your plans are
regarding testresources, whether you plan to maintain it actively, orphan
it, or if it should be removed from Debian.
Thanks,
Regis
Hi,
For the record, emacs-snapshot was removed from unstable as well, so xtla
definitely needs to be updated and this build-dep to be removed.

Hi,
The simplest solution to this is to conflicts against versions older than
the dummy package when it was introduced, that is 2.5-1, instead of trying
to do that against the current one.
The attached patch does that, as well as using ${binary:Version} instead
of ${Sour
Hi,
This package, silgraphite1.0, has had a single upload to experimental
almost 3 years ago, and an FTBFS bug open against it since November 2004.
Is it worth keeping it in the archive ? If it's not, please ask ftp-master
to remove it.
Thanks,
Regis
Hi Steve,
I forwarded it upstream who "fixed" it with the new 9.55 release. Given
the progress made with their fix, I will have to work on a proper one...
Many thanks for the report.
