I guess I was wrong - it just happened without composite. So I guess it's completely random, other than the fact that it freezes/reboots at random times when: * I switch from X to console * I suspend/resume the machine * I kill the X server (Ctrl-Alt-Backspace) with the new modesetting "intel" d

Actually, I don't think it happens at all - at least I can't reproduce it as of now without composite. So this seems to be an issue between composite (and/or additional settings needed to get it working) and the new mode-setting driver (it didn't happen w/i810+915resolution). On 8/9/07, Brice Gog
