The bug-chasing occuring on libusb may or may not fix your problem, so
if you could do some more digging with debug builds of the current
libsane and libusb, it would really help us.

We're hitting license issues with the firmwares, so until this is
resolved dgap can't enter Debian, not even in non-free.

broken theme engine. Try w

subsystem ?
