Did you get an answer? I tried the other day (I put the WPA password
into the WEP password field) but it didn't work.

To simplify this, I think you are saying that in v2.4, you see that a
formula like this
=if(A1-B1<>0;1;C1) returns an error 529 when C1 contains "" and A1 and
B1 are empty
I made a simplied test case in OOo 2.4 (the lenny version)
The formula behaves the same in 2.4 and 3.0. My 3.0 is the experiem

In the launchpad bug report (the link above) there is a discussion about
why OOo now behaves like this. I understood from this discussion that
upstream deliberate made this change for improved Excel compatibility.
I'm an experienced Excel user, and I certainly expect Excel to behave
the way OOo now
Package: gksu
Version: 2.0.0-5
Severity: minor
Synaptic or Systen->Admin->Users and Groups don't get focus.
If I edit the menu entry to remove the use of gksu (or su-to-root) then the
launched application does get focus.

I can't use KeySafe because I entering text in the field Key Id doesn't enable
other fields.
It appears as if the event linked to the Key ID field changing is not being
triggered.

The bug only occurs when gksu uses su to launch apps.
Using sudo doesn't show the bug.
Therefore, a workaround:
1) enable sudo for your user (as root, do visudo and copy the existing
privilege for the root user (near the end of the file), substituting
your userid)
2) as your user, run gconf-edit
