I'm changing the kernel compiler to gcc-4.5 in experimental. I
understand this was not a good version for alpha, hppa or m68k so I have
left them with gcc-4.4, but this can be changed on request from the
porters.
We will probably need to move on to gcc-4.6 before wheezy.
