upstream does not want to change this, I hope that at least in ubuntu we should
have a normal ctrl-c behavior, and remove the menu shortcut keybinding
I downloaded the 1.3.0-1 from debian (I know, it's not fedora) and it PARTIALLY
fixed the problem.
There are still some sites which embed flash videos which still needs the
workaround!

Well, as reported in the upstream bug, they tend to think that the
cause is in xorg: after hitting any keyboard key another randr event
is fired, so displays get reconfigured and I see the lag + flicker.

I discovered that DPMS fails when I boot an instance of android emulator, which
is a 32bit app in my 64bit ubuntu.

Now the screen doesn't blank anymore. But I noticed that this bug happens not
in every boot.
What's strange is that the screen goes black for a second when opening the lid,
and the angle is 35-40° with the table.

totem displays tags in subtitles from MKV files instead of interpreting them

When using and avi file plus a srt text file, totem can handle tags in
subtitles by showing bold, italic and underline.
If instead the video is in MKV with embedded subtitles, it displays the tag.
I also made a test by extracting the subtitles and converting from MKV
to AVI.
