GTK3 windows kind of "vibrate" at the edges or produce weird shadows when they
are loading something or when a modal window appears. I notice that in Firefox,

under Wayland. I assume that it does not work in XWayland apps.
Steps to reproduce the bug:

1. Select a text field in a webpage in Firefox → No OSK
2. Select a text
Firefox uses GTK, but in a Wayland session it runs on XWayland, the same
for Qt apps and Chrome, they run on XWayland in a Wayland session.

OK, I think I discovered something, when I updated mutter in bionic-proposed,
it didn't pull the updated version of libmutter-2-0 and gir1.2-mutter-2. So I
had a mix of:
mutter 3.28.3+git20190124-0ubuntu18.04.1
mutter-common 3.28.3+git20190124-
Three commits got backported upstream to gnome-shell-3.28 related to the close
dialog, but after the git snapshot that is being SRUed now to Bionic. The fix
to this bug is there.

It would be great to have the "old" source field work in Bionic for
snaps and debs though. It's already shown for flatpaks in Bionic. The
same fix could be applied for snaps and debs in gnome-software 3.28 in
Bionic. See the attached screenshot for clarification on the telegram
app.

OK, I turned on the password management interface from gnome-software,
and now syncing has partially worked. The Epiphany snap could sync
bookmarks and history, but not passwords from Firefox. I tried to log
into Outlook and Gmail but the Epiphany snap did not have the passwords
synced from Firefox
