1. Problem Description:
I'm glad to report that the 'make test' starts my httpd server ok now.
(apache 2.0.48, solaris 8, gcc 3.3.1, and perl 5.8.2)
However I got the following errors:
apr-ext/uuid..

This is my first time posting, wish everyone a happy new year!
My question is, does anyone have a perl 5.8.2 BINARY distribution for the AIX5.1? By this distribution, I mean the equivalent of the window's binary distribution, Perl-5.8-win32-bin.exe under http://perl.apache.org/dist/w

So, that's where they reside? /export/apache2_dev/lib?
I would normally say it needs the -R.../lib for Solaris,
So, isn't it a bug in apr-config then?
% apr-config --link-ld

I don't know the Apache developer's intention.
If you assume a single Apache installation, it
is incorrect for Solaris. It should have
'-R/export/apache2_dev/

-L is the link-time search path. It's used.
-R is the run-time search path. This is stored in the executable
or shared library.
