I am in the middle of installing Dspace 6.3 on a new Centos 7 test server.
Everything is installed as per the install guide. However I am unable to
see the applications. I think I have defined the home directory in the
local.cfg but on starting tomcat I see this message in the logs

I see that you are manually copying the compiled code into the tomcat
directory.
Have you run the "ant update" command to install your code to the dspace
install directory? That action performs a number of important
configuration steps including database initialization.
