As an American engineer, I almost invariably convert my "real world"
units into the metric system, solve the problem, and then translate the
solution back into the units that are used in my country. Cumulatively,
it's a significant competitive disadvantage for a nation, but it's
easier than trying

On the Yaskawa VFD I am using, there are registers that can be changed to
alter the function of the run & fwd/rev inputs, so the names really are
silly.
There are a large number of those registers that change a bunch of things.
It took me several days for me to find the ones I needed to tweek.

if you just need to translate a section about some particular register
you're interested in, just cut and paste into the direct translation box.
Otherwise, download and split the Chinese doc and then upload

Fortunately, "EVERY electronic device eventually ends up in a land fill"
is a patently false statement. At least in the US and probably to a
greater extent in Europe, almost all electronic devices are recycled.
They're shredded and the metals are chemically extracted and separated.

We just switched to lead-free this school year, and I have been very happy

I ordered it from Pacwest Supply, but I have no idea whether you can get
FCT products in Sweden.
I discovered that applying a little dab of the NC2

In the UK we buy milk by the litre. Either 0.568litres, 1.13 litres or 3.408

Yes, people who complain about the metric system apparently don't realize
that they are using it without even knowing it. The United States adopted
the metric standard for the inch in 1959.
All of our customary units are now defined in terms of the metric system.

Andy,
the use of those length units depends on the circle who uses them.
Woodworkers use cm, metalworkers mm, opticians micrometers, nuclear
scientists nanometers. The aim is to leave off unused zeroes, either in
front or after the decimal point. Hectoliters are the most important
measure of b
