If one tries to modify the ebuild and test a change, the system issues a file

I run KDE on my system and my clock is wrong. I corrected several times from
KDE, which sets the time to next boot, when it reverts to the old setting. This
looks like slight bug.

I have the same problem when I exit KDE 4.3.3 and xorg 1.6.8. When I try
re-emerging the xorg server I got error messages (blocked packages) see below:

If you are still having trouble with xorg, the best source of error information
is the file /var/log/Xorg.0.log, which is created every time you run xorg.
Also, the Gento web site has several articles on xorg which can provide
additional help, although not all information is in one place.

When I start KDE I get the error: Akonadi server not registered with d-bus. Not
sure if this is very important. If anyone knows of a solution to this problem
please let me know.

I also upgraded the drivers after a xorg upgrade. The correct drivers need to
be emerged: ie. x11-drivers/XF86-input_mouse x11-drivers/XF86-input_keyboard +
the video drivers. If you are not sure what drivers you need, just execute
qlist /media-video.

I just loaded a kde 4.3.5 system onto my computer. I printed a kword file to a
pdf file. When I now print to the cups printer I get an error: application/pdf

Printing from other applications, like Firefox works ok.

I am currently running xorg 1.7, which crashes very frequently. When I used to
run xorg 1.65 everything was running fine. Can anyone clue me in on how to
emerge an older version of the program.
Thanks.
Can someone send me the specific e-mail address to be de listed from the group?
Thanks.

I upgraded my xorg from 1.76 to 1.9 yesterday, including downloading the most
recent drivers. When the new system did not work, I checked the xorg log
(attached) and I thought that the problem was the mode setting. So in the
kernel, I "enabled the modesetting by default" and now the card does no
