In my opinion the ACE plugin should be added to GIMP-2.3.x. Can anyone add it?
I do not have cvs write access.

Because Kevin did no longer develope the ACE plugin I created a new version
a longer time ago. Now I am looking for someone who could help me to port it
to GIMP-1.3.11.

The ACE plugin has several Gtk issues that should be fixed, but I do not
know enough about Gtk, so could anyone go through the code (some are already
marked with FIXME) and help to fix the code.

I have released a new version of the plugin Adaptive Contrast
Enhancement to the registry because Kevin doesn't support it anymore.
The gtk part is not perfect, so could anyone help to finish the gtk
part.
